Why does it take two (and more) months to process under 100 2 minute tests?
I thought by now we were promised much more data. What was the cause of the delay?

Very well stated! Due to the worldwide pandemic in the short term, I think there is room for all tests from all manufacturers but just like the video Betamax and VHS there will emerge one clear winner which in my opinion will be the far superior in every way the Paraytec Rapid minute scalable matrix device

Unfortunately, you have got your information mixed up! The Paraytec device is not a shoe box! It has similar dimensions to a shoe box proving it is totally portable! It can be setup in a matrix to test 100 tests in approx. 2 minutes! It is the inferior LFT test that takes 20 minutes to test just one sample!

So, it seems Avacta’s test can only be useful in testing people with a high viral load! as per their RNS dated 20th April 2021 AND IT TAKES 20 MINUTES FOR ONE TEST!

So as our Paraytec device can detect EXTREMELY LOW LEVELS OF Sars-Cov-2 virus particles!
Our test is far superior as it will detect people that are Asymptomatic but are still infectious!
In clinical validation studies, a total of 39 COVID-19 positive and 13 COVID-19 negative patient nasal swab samples have been used in a comparator PCR test to determine the viral load in each sample. Virus containing samples corresponding to the load distribution have been transferred to Paraytec's newly developed Viral Transport Medium to test the laboratory performance of Paraytec's photonics-based test. Using a maximum cycle threshold (Ct) value of 37, Paraytec's q-PCR testing regime has a sensitivity and specificity of 97.4% and 100% respectively. In the laboratory, the Paraytec test achieved 94% sensitivity and 100% specificity. Importantly, these results correspond to clinical samples with viral loads of approximately 100,000 virions per millilitre or less.
This outcome is important because it demonstrates the ability of the Paraytec test to identify people with relatively low viral loads - many of whom would be asymptomatic individuals or those with early-stage infection. The results demonstrate the potential performance advantage of the Paraytec test over lateral flow tests, which have only shown high levels of sensitivity in clinical samples with relatively high viral loads (typically, 500,000 virions per millilitre and higher).

Is a Ct of 37 representative of real world though? (The Paraytec trial was done against lab samples rather than real cases)

A CT (Cycle Threshold) of 37 is very much in our real world! A high CT is a sign of a very low positive Sars-Cov-2 virus sample typically found in asymptomatic people! They may not have any symptoms of Covid-19 but yet they could be very infectious!
It seems strange that the Avacta’s Lateral Flow Test with a Ct 30-31ow test was only tested on 2 people with a Ct 30-31)!
And also, that the result of the 2 tests with a were not published! As far as I can see!

Many factors affect whether an individual will infect others or not, as well as viral load, such as the circumstances and length of exposure. However, there is a growing consensus that a viral load as measured by PCR of Ct<27 should be considered as infectious. The clinical data for Avacta’s AffiDX® SARS-CoV-2 antigen lateral flow test demonstrated 100% sensitivity for identifying infectious individuals in this range.
