Easy eloro. If you can prove the DGR announcement has nothing to do with a loan, then my speculation will be shown to be wrong. Until then, it's a legitimate potential explanation for the announcement people were commenting on.

Executed on the existing loan though. Collateral for SHPL was only 55m of those- less than 27%. Still got nearly £20m of shares that aren't used anywhere.

And to reply to your other point, less than 27% of their shares are pledged as collateral. Leaves quite a few to use for a refinance.

On 2nd April the baseline 10-day VWAP for SolGold was 7.13p, according to DGR. I'm not saying refinancing is definitely the reason for the recent announcement (that's why I said 'might') but one would imagine the terms would be more favourable at today's prices.

Listing Rule 19.12 defines “dispose” to include “using an asset as collateral”, actually.

Do the maths, cash. If I had around £76k left in my hedge from when the sp started with a 6, and it's now c. 5x higher, even without any additional buying it would be over £350k now, wouldn't it? This is why I always said I kept a hedge: against unexpected news. Obviously it's chicken feed compared to other investments, but it's not a bad rise into the festive period. Pan african has been the real payday though- glad I took a load of everyone's sweet post-covid cash from here and put it there 👍

26p won't act as a floor price if the pusu period passes without event. Warren said this would be the time we discover how the market values solgold. Wouldn't it be bad for the recent clappers if it turned out it wasn't even worth 26p. Jiangxi will have really cemented their position as the sole remaining interest party if we go through the AGM back around or below 26p...
