Maybe, maybe not. Just had a butchers at AN results on company house and thought they could now be in with a shout given last few years results, the war chest they’ve been building and the low price of SiS.

Bought PhD for £32m (RNS from Wed, 9th Jan 2019 07:00)

Still no trading update and we’re approaching final year end results soon - one way or another, update will be on the way in 6 weeks.

It does look crazy cheap at the moment, but if the new factory / overheads are too high and growth has stalled, then a slip is likely and buy out less likely - unless another sports nutrition business slots into fill new factory spare capacity and at that point, probably wouldn’t be a great offer. In this scenario, I’d go for Applied Nutrition buyout (especially given location) and their strong 2022 performance.

It’s a shame they’ve not labelled the locations to show exactly what sequence the next set of assay results will be coming back.

Hole 24 obviously gave a fantastic hit.
Drill holes around it suggest they’ve concentrated on area - exploring deeper and hopefully adding some width and gaining an understanding if there’s anything to follow (and direction to go)

Seems a bit ott to write this off already, but given the lack of info on drill locations, the lack of drill intercept results, no mention of a feeder system and the ‘delays’, I can understand why share price has taken a hammering.

Given it’s hit at just over 20m down before significant grades are hit, that’s a decent hit for very little digging - with a lot more results from that pad to come in.

Doesn’t look great, maybe new site + move hasn’t gone as planned and budget blown? Need to sell a lot to cover those new overheads! Declining market would be a real kick in the teeth.

Buyer in the background, NDAs in place and nothing can be released. When you think how much was paid for the PhD buy out + the progress the business has made, does look crazy cheap.

Will be a lot more comfortable once the trading update is out.

Nice interview, adding that much lithium for 1200m drilling is a good result.

San Domingo update sounds positive / interesting and results shouldn’t be much longer.

One of the company’s flagship assets, the San Domingo project in Arizona, is currently undergoing exploratory drilling and assays will be made available soon.

Ideas on ‘soon’?

Completely understand that Goolang and I’m not massively worried about delays, forgivable given the scale of projects and challenges.

What’s less forgivable is to provide regular updates through Nov - interviews + RNS, saying they’ll be released before the end of the year.

If in doubt, don’t put it in RNS - twice it’s been done for San Domingo and assay results in the past couple of months. For a business that’s trying to build credibility, not great.

Hoping we see updates very early in 2023.

Let that sink in as we await assay results and JORC update.

Wasn’t the RNS I was expecting this morning.

San Dom assays and the Basin Clay JORC update due before the end of the year. Not that many days left!

Having said that,100% you’d want that sort your options out before dropping the San Dom assays and/or the Basin Clay JORC (assuming positive)

Full assays are in progress and will be reported when received for this hole.

Todays RNS:

Drilling is progressing well at San Domingo; we are 50% through the programme. Samples are being assayed currently, and results will be released before year-end once sufficient mass is received.

I’m thinking the Footrot results are in and there’s more work needed (so they were buried in the Ascot RNS)

In addition to the Ascot drilling, two exploration drill holes, FTDD-22-001 and 002 completed at the Footrot prospect, about 7km south-southeast of Racecourse, intersected lengthy intervals of alteration and iron sulphide mineralisation along with traces of copper and possible gold indicator minerals. This could suggest proximity to a mineralised porphyry - further modelling of the geophysical results here will be required.

Not sure I share the same interpretation, but still seems very positive and significant news expected soon.

The only thing that’s not positive is the views, not many have picked up on the interview (19 views)

I’ve seen global Assay results starting to drop from 3 months to 2 months (and less) - so about due? (with progress update?)
