I think everyone that laps up the "shorters" forgets that these clown have to go to market and buy back every share they sold. that is going to be tremendously difficult if they need to find 60m+ shares on the open market. its actually going to be funny seeing how hard it is as there will be others also trying to buy any catalyst that drops anytime now because every time they get some they raise the price themselves. very dodgy game they are playing.

60p and i reckon most pi will walk, leaving it clear for instos to take this up.

30p is nowhere near eye-watering considering we touched 37p on speculation nearly 2yrs ago.

Fred, how many of your 6003 posts have offered anything constructive to any ongoing conversation. i am yet to see anything from you which has increased my understanding of GGP or change my strategy.

Come on chaps. this tiny additional short will not have been worth -7%. Chances are there is someone either collecting a chunk on a limit order or they are just rattling the cage for the inevitable rise where they can sell you back what you sold.

How do you create a 60% gap in buy price after a positive update which increases the potential value. SD has to jump on that one. its almost like they are shorting it themselves?

I suspect its just an attempt to shake a little bit out of the rise over xmas. did anyone really expect any different in the 1st trading week? hopefully we are not subject to another year with the board full of whinging. deal with the swings or leave the building.

We already know EG has gold because a lot of us were stunned when NCM pulled away the first time around.

I took a short position on S&P 500. its always the same, we will be happy to see everyone make money doing what they do until its personally affects us, then it suddenly becomes unacceptable. It will never be stopped because too much money is involved. thats the reality of it.

Forget about bids & takeovers, its not coming before the gold comes up. keep an eye on the sp over the next week, these clowns will likely raise it whilst nobody is really watching and if not, well, we have not had any "bad" news for over 3yrs so carry on enjoying the journey.
