Stephan Bernstein, CEO of GreenRoc, details the PFS results for the new graphite processing plant. Watch the video here.
I think my only feedback is that it was impossible to provide feedback. Apart from that, a reassuring AGM presentation, and everything is on course, if not moving faster than expected. Havieron is still 'early days' and they're still finding more, the decline to begin by end-of-year probably, but no production for 2-3 years. GGP is not going to remain just an explorer. Lots of other targets waiting to be developed.
GH - 'clearly we are moving from bing just an explorer'
I guess people are gambling on the usual rise before news and dip upon news - depends on the news though doesn't it? so maybe worth it for a short-term trade, and the rule of thumb usually holds true - but high risk
People posting on this forum do so for a variety of reasons - to make them feel good, to brag, let off a bit of steam, to induce buying/selling, maybe even to warn others. Most posters aren't doing it for the reader's benefit.
I'm sure this has been raised before but I can't remember the outcome - what are the chances/advantages/disadvantages of GGP ending up in the FTSE, i.e. main index not AIM? After all, its a proper grown-up company with strong assets and prospects now. It would be good to hear from someone who knows about these things - thanks
I was going to shift some money between accounts recently because of the £85k limit (after a property sale) and was told that the limit had gone up to £100k and £200k for joint accounts - you'd need to check that though
don't beat yourself up about it, we've all made mistakes
Quite right Joe - ‘you must never lose sight of one fact, it's not in NCM favor to overly expand our sp’
They will want another 5% so keeping the lid on the eventual sp rocket is very much in their interest
'This is almost like sitting in a bingo hall and every once in a while, instead of shouting, "House!" someone leaps up and calls out "Life changing amount here!"'
So true - and it is!!
We see a lot of hype on these forums but this is without doubt a once in a lifetime experience - it has been already and there is so much more to unfold - I feel I have to keep pinching myself
'It really means everyone and his pet dog should now mortgage their houses and plough the proceeds into GGP shares in the knowledge there is a huge unfulfilled order on the horizon which will ensure the sp increases further'
...which would then be followed by profit taking?
'anyone who states they can predict the market action is delusional' ...but we see the same pattern so often - sp rises prior to news then there is an immediate, if only temporary, slip back after news. I must admit I thought it might be different today, given the amazing continuation of good news, but it still fell back for a while. This seems to be de-risked now, and the gold will not go away; you'd think FOMO would keep the sp up for the next few months with all the news events lined up culminating with the resource estimate - but as you say....who knows? GLA, lets enjoy the ride.
Spot on threeturn. You sum the situation up very nicely and reflect the views of many others - probably the silent majority who can't believe our good fortune with this once in a lifetime investment, and look in on the forum for news and opinions. Apart from the nonsense that somehow breaks out at the weekends, the chat is constructive and good to read. Good luck everyone, it's quite a ride, isn't it?!
If Newcrest have to purchase their last 5% share of Havieron at fair price (if I understand that right)it’s understandable that they will want to play things down and not excite the market too much.
OMG it must be the weekend, I’ll check back in on Monday
When are you expecting 25p DRG?
What a depressing place this board is over the weekend. So many blatant efforts to push the sp in whatever direction the poster needs. I feel sorry for any innocent people just looking in for some genuine discussion and honest opinions - beware.
I’m going to come back in the morning
"This could be well north of 5p in a flash before any deal is even signed" ....or south of 1.35p if nothing is heard in a few days. I'm not being pessimistic, but all AIM shares are very volatile - even on rumours rather than news. It's not a one way guaranteed ride. I bought 500k last week so I'm not talking these down...just stating the obvious, I guess, but I hope you're right!
"The fact that they are moving on this hire now suggests to me the decline is starting in the fourth quarter, not the third."
That's just because you take your time :)
Haha bb - yes, or at least learn how to type ??
