Not sure if this is the correct way to do it but I just replied this on the Velocys Twitter page after the Wall Street Journal article. Do they reply to such things? I also asked via their PR email re directors using hard cash to buy shares to show confindence but no response. That was three weeks ago.
"Can we get an update from the company please re recent events. Shell has gone. BA is going to invest with Lanzajet. Fulcrum and Essar joining up to make SAF. Share price is slipping. Stock options awarded to Directors but no cash investment in your own shares as far as I can see."

In this report it states that BA and Shell are in with Velocys (was in the case of Shell) on technical help not as financial backers - that right ? If so Shell going away does not have the financial impact that some have alluded to. Looking for answers not ramp/deramp thank you. Here's the wording "Waste overall looks a far better bet for fuel suppliers. With the help of a £500,000 UK government grant and funding and technical help from British Airways and Shell" GLA.

Enerkem produce methanol/ethanol which has around half the energy context of jet fuel. Therefore assuming the same amount of energy going in in both systems, you’ll produce more lower energy content product, than higher energy content product.
In addition, the 500k tons of waste for VLS is unsorted whereas the Enerkem figures are post sorted.
The yield on a mass balance basis is almost the same for both plants. Also, jet fuel is about twice the price of methanol so it all balances out."

MyrtleMan just a question and willing to learn but do technicals really work for AIM listed shares? Just feel it's more fundamentals that give AIM shares their boost or crash. Am a holder and believe Velocys will have a great future but I buy and hold or sell and get out based on what lays ahead or not rather than support / resistance / head n shoulders etc. But as I say willing to learn and add more knowledge to help decision making any easier. I see the 50 day is going to cross so will watch this with interest. Thank you for posting your analysis anyway. Keen to discover. GLA.

Is alluding being factual? So BA clearly alluding they are behind SAF and some plant just south of Leeds as one potential/several projects/ideas/support in order to make them carbon zero by 2050. After all it would be silly to be looking at just one form of technology in order to preserve BA's future. You wouldn't put all your money into one share would you. But clearly supporting Altalto Immingham.

And he also says BA specifically has been investing in this plant just south of Leeds which will be the first to process household waste and make biofuels.

I agree to a certain extent Pondering but not everybody has the spare cash to average down but yes pick your level and hold or set limits both up and/or down where you are comfortable to exit. AIM isn't a gteed one way ticket that's for sure but can reap rewards and rob you of hard earned cash. GLA whatever you're view or position is.
