Last I heard - 27th March - from Mayor Dan Gibson of Natchez - they are building a levee. Whether this has been completed or not I do not know.

Yes agreed . He did seem rather bullish and on the front foot. I submitted a question about Natchez and finance which did not get answered so hopefully will get a reponse and published on the Investor Meet website.

I listened to the first part where Emma Gilthorpe, CEO, Jet Zero Council and Sophie Lane, Chief Relationships Officer, Aerospace Technology Institute were answering the questions. Basically push SAF hard NOW as hydrogen is a way off. SAF is the way to go now whilst still investing in other technologies. Make the 10% of drop in SAF a mandate and not a guidance so industry has a clear idea of demand. Get the price difference down of kerosene vs SAF down via a mechanism (they mentioned contacts for difference as was used in wind power ) or how the USA is proposing and via scalability to get costs down. Velocys and Lanzajet both got a mention in respect to the smaller players that can help ramp up production/give competition to the fuel behemoths. It was said that Easyjet was using 30% drop in SAF flying people to COP26 and that all flights taking people there had some form of SAF. GLA

Sure hope so and in a good way. VLS must be feeling confident as you wouldn't invite sell side analysts if you knew your reporting was going to be poor. GLA

Velocys are reporting its results for for the full year ended 31 December 2021 on Tuesday, 17 May 2022. There is a presentation that morning on Microsoft Teams at 11.00am but is for sell side analysts I believe.
