CRO Engagement11 May 2021 10:37
With reference to the amendment to the SEC application - anyone hazard a guess at which CROs we are trying to engage as the leaning appears to me more US now? We have already worked with a lot of the large ones already in our journey Intrials for Brazil,FHI Clinical,STC Biologies,Sciarra Labs,ITR Labs Canada - and pretty sure Par-exel (US) were involved somewhere? The CROs generally undertake a potentially wide ranging involvement - but can be limited to simple things such as coatings - but predominantly help companies get to market quicker via speeding up Phase 2 and Phase 3 clinical trials - which as we have a limited number of actual colleagues in Tils will be vital - for me it adds weight and gravitas to the addition of new board executives from the likes Regeneron (Neil Graham) and also the expertise and involvement of Napoleon Ferrara.
So any investors on this board who dont know of Mr Graham and Mr Ferraras backgrounds need to do a bit more homework if they think TILS is just some sort of ponzi scheme! It is vital that our head clinical scientist when engaging with these CROs is well informed and well versed in the pitfalls of such arrangements - look who we have on board in advisory capacities and tell me we dont have a diligent small board - yes who dont always hit target dates - but a target is just that a target - not a commitment to anyone on pain of death.
I will continue to invest further in TILS everytime funds become available - I dont trade - I try to invest sensibly and use my business acumen to identify strong fundamentals within companies (much as I run my own) and invest - as I do in my own - for growth and hopefully success, the biggest reward is employing more colleagues and ensuring that they and their families are well treated and enjoy a share in the wealth of the business they are a part of - always stood me in good stead.
Wish you all the very best of luck with your investments
Cheers
