Agree with you. I foolishly bought around 6p in May and things went t*ts up soon after. It was a very modest investment so don't really miss the money. However as this relatively small sum has now been more than halved, I think I'll just let it ride and put my loss down to experience. I'm hanging on to the forlorn hope that titanic knows something I don't.
Hello Shah. Yes I'm a bit confused by this one too. I bought in in May when the price was over 6p. I'd kind of written this one off, as I lost confidence in the company. I thought by averaging down I was pumping good money after bad down the drain, but reading some of the comments on here I'm prepared to sit on what I've got . . . which isn't now a great deal. The annual report is due toward the end of next month and that will trigger something. Consensus is the company is highly under-valued and due a re-rating, but I'm Mr Sceptical. DYOR
I took a punt on these again today. More to average down than to trade between 75-90, but got some more at 75.5 and hope it'll prove to be at or near the floor. There has been a lot of activity around this level, so hopefully a move north will be triggered. GL
Read your reply to me last night with interest. I'm more comfortable with my strategy now thanks. You say this is a "time consuming hobby" ! I wish I could indulge in my hobby as much as you my friend. I hope Mrs Riddler is not thinking of preventing your numerous and informative posts.
Me too Baz. I want to sell up and move on, but it forms part of my varied portfolio and it's in an area I don't want to vacate. I was in initially around 95 . . averaged down at 78 to 83.8. I'm sure it'll come good at some point but it is very frustrating. But then again, it's more fun than putting your money in a building society.
Good news expected Pessimistbasher wrote on 25th June . . . "On the surface of it, PSK is in a great position to get into serious profitability for the first time this year after successful product launches thus far in EU, Japan and now the States etc... This is a major breakthrough for the company and with positive results in August." Well the interim figures are to be revealed on 20th August. I'd expect them to steadily rise ahead of the results. And assuming the results are well received . . who knows where this baby can go . . . . Just nice ! Always leaves you wishing you'd bought more at lower levels though !
Bought a few of these @ 42 . . . have progressed nicely, doubling my money. Now I'd normally sell half and run the rest for free. However, I've only got 1200 or so shares, so I'm thinking of holding the lot. Anyone care to share their thoughts ?
I'm a new investor. All my research seems to suggest this is a well run company and is winning orders, but I'm concerned that this is not being reflected in the share price. Is there something holding it back that I'm not aware of ? Even when the market has a good day and blue fills the screens SWG is lagging behind. Bought a few at 70, considering topping up around present levels.
