It may well bounce but I begin to smell a Connaught. RNS is a load of smoke and mirrors, Been here along with Gelston for ages and was happy to hold and take a dividend but thats gone as well. Have not lost 8k as have traded these on the downs and ups but even so a drop like this takes the shine of a morning.

a year in this share I have made precisely diddly squat. Has some really good investments in companies with superb ideas but sadly in the UK this counts for not a lot. Feel sure the chewing gum and washing machine will be big but as an investor I have to eat.... Au revoir IPO

Have just looked carefully at my portfolio and I have only 3 oilies left!! One of those is Afren..so a ftse 250. Miners for some reason have now risen to 5 but MIO and here are the real gems to shine soon. I am becoming lazy and longer term investments require less attention and are more stress free. Spider enjoys jumping around like a fairy on a rock cake and if it all goes well it is a real adrenaline rush but I am becoming more a whisky and slippers person. I have just bought a shed load of Lloyds. I must be bonkers

this is proving more fun than an oily. Ano 60 job losses today in our town. Queues every morning outside the no job centres. Cutback in amount of interest can be claim on mortgages means many will need this company. With cuts beginning to bite hard this year the only way has to be up for us..

watched and held this share of and on for two years. McBride is a strong company and moving ahead. It has been blown back down before but only a matter of time and we will see this at the top of the highest riser board again. DYOR and you will see the pattern...

Happily holding and may add on Monday if no news... Has very large upside.

I expect a slow climb to 20p. Good news should raise it to 25-30 and by end of year 50p. 2012 should see it climbing to £1. Shall buy on the falls and sell a few on the highs keeping a solid holding. This is my banker for 2012 ..
