RE: Will the madness never end25 Jun 2014 12:37
anth, depends what your reason was for buying at 2.22?
me, i was in astar from about 1.16/1.17,
sold some out on the spike which was very nice,
(didn't get 3.9, but managed chunks between 3.20-3.55)
but i bought some back about 2.17/2.18,
and am happy to hold long here for weeks/months
because I am waiting for news on mexican deals.
until then, when we also see what kind of money
astar will want to fund those opportunities,
these sp movements are shadow-boxing, trades on no real events / developments.
so we have some folk probably still taking profits who were in from early days,
but couldn't sell out their volume on the spike / missed out that day altogether,
and we have some disillusioned short-term traders who just bought
because they saw the sp move and wanted to jump on
even tho' they didn't know what they were buying.
it remains an extremely speculative share, and may not pay off.
but if they find the kinds of deals they are trying to position for,
sp will do very well indeed, and 2.2 will be fine level.
(remember, ceo/chair make their money from 2p up.)
perhaps it should depend on your risk tolerance, and whether
you are prepared to lose what you have here,
for the chance of multi-bag gain. good luck either way.
