RE: Minutes released before AGM16 May 2019 21:25
The issue I have is they know the outcome of the meeting. Minutes are simply formalising it. So anyone that says they don’t know is naive, unless they went in blindfolded and ear plugs in
You go to a meeting you listen, plan and find a solution. Minutes are simply the paper record. The bod know exactly what is going on and the forward plan.
Cynic in me sees what Scott is saying. Whilst I would like to think they are keeping quite until it’s formal, I also have a suspicion that it wasn’t as good as expected and they are keeping quite until they can find a way to soften the blow.
It’s like an oil company saying there is oil shows or we have found oil but now need to test, with the minutes being the results so to speak. So why did motif not state anything at all? Even more so given the decimation of the share price
The company could, imo, have given something without compromising themselves, given the minutes would simply confirm what was spoken.
Been thinking a lot on this tonight, only have a small holding, and as they say in the Den...for that reason I’m out (in the morning).
Doesn’t sit right for me
