The merged trust will be renamed F&C UK Real Estate Investments Limited. Continuing investors will find information about the trust and their investment under this name. On a US website today at 14:25 UK time: 7:49 AM Frontline (FRO) shares collapse in Oslo as the world's largest operator of oil tankers, worried it will run out of cash next year, pursues talks with lenders. Down 60% since 2010's start, tanker rates have been in unprofitable territory for nearly all of 2011. Frontline is trying to get in front of other shippers that will likely need restructuring in 2012. Shares -42% premarket.
I agree, don't have any APF yet but they're definitely on my watch list. Good solid way of getting exposure to mining without having to buy into one particular miner. A bit like an investment trust I suppose.

Not at the moment. From the Annual Financial Report, dated 8th April 2011 ( http://www.omegauw.com/~/media/Files/O/Omega-Insurance-Holdings/reports/oih-annual-report-2010a.pdf ) : Given the circumstances and, taking into account the interim dividend of 6.0 cents per share already paid and the substantial increase in the loss for the year compared to previous estimates, the Board has decided, as matter of prudence, not to pay a final dividend for 2010. We will keep under review the capital position and trading results with a view to resuming dividends as soon as conditions allow. As a matter of policy, the Board remains committed to paying out a substantial proportion of the Group’s annual profits as dividends.
riddler, your post refers to the wrong share. CIC is a property company, not a mining company.
Hopefully the NICE committee's comments will flow into good sales in the UK. I see from their website that Deltex's US probe sales were up 27% (from the company's 2010 results presentation), so hopefully the NICE trial & subsequent recommendation will help sales outside the UK too. Fingers crossed!

Shares mag says buy. Mentions chatter that major shareholder Norgine may counter bid - it would need to offer something above 140p. Fingers crossed!
This one's frustrating. No news yet the price drops bit by bit. Oh well, the divi is good so that will keep me in for the time being.
This share seems to go up and up, but I haven't seen any news that explains it. I've got a small amount of them.
