I was present at the December meeting and the body language and pathetic words and excuses that Justin, Rowan and Murray proffered was in my submission code for 'You shareholders are screwed'. Justin was bordering on the aggressive, to rail road his next 'bright idea' to get the show on the road again and no doubt another few years of a comfortable salary at our expense! Any self respecting group of schoolboys explaining to their headmaster as to why it wasn't their fault could not have been prouder of their conduct that morning.
There were two men at the meeting who who took the board to task, in particular one gentleman whom I sat next to.
He did a sterling job at trying to get to the facts which were aggressively evaded.
I tried to ask a question and was ignored - that said it all really.
HASO you should have been there to ask the obvious. I'm not saying that you would have had any luck with it especially if you happen to be female.
I'm just as ****ed off about it as the next person as I have lost a lot of money. But after seeing thee way the board acted, throwing their weight around. I thought I would rather see them out of their cushy jobs than drawing it out for the inevitable five years of more misery. A bit like lancing a huge boil I guess!
Well done to those who didn't go down without a fight.
