If EVR remains profitable,. which it's likely to be, and EVRAZ went onto the Moscow stock exchange and announced a dividend, would we get our money and how ?
You didn't get a dividend when EVR was trading normally, so why the hell will they pay one when they're suspended?
If EVRAZ isn't re-listed onto the LSE you will never see another penny in dividends. You can be as positive as you like on this forum but it won't make Evraz pay dividends
Re :ShortCINE
ShortCINE you seem very angry dear. I'm NOT an idiot I'm just trying to give my opinion on this forum. If you're having a grumpy day I suggest you relax. Thanks to Small Penguin for sticking up for me.....
Why would you report me nanogold1 ?? Surely the idea of these forrums is to get a balanced view. I'm not going to say what I don't believe. I actually OWN 20k of EVR stock. It would be stupid if I said "Evraz will be worth £7 in 2 weeks" when I don't believe it. What I AM saying is No one knows how easy it will be to buy and sell EVR stock if it's de-listed from the LSE.
Now you can't report someone because he doesn't agree with you
Please don't think I'm trying to be negative, I'm really not. It's just that pretty much every piece of information from Hargreaves Lansdown and A J Bell have been just that, negative. The guy from HL said "If the shares were listed in Moscow it would be very difficult to get money out. This applies if the shares were de listed front LSE. The shares would be very illiquid and could only be traded on a match basis." The guy from AJ Bell wasn't much more comforting.
So can we all be realistic. If you honestly believe the shares will be £7 in a few weeks, that's fine, but really nobody knows what's going to happen because there's no precedent. Surely RA and the other Russians will ultimately call the shots, and a listing in the far East would be in their best interest
Jotom750 I do apologise if I sound negative, that really isn't my objective. I guess I'm playing devil's advocate to many people's wildly optimistic ideas for what's likely to happen. I personally hold just over 20,000 shares which I paid about £1 each. What is your personal opinion as to how one may receive dividend income if EVR is listed in the far East? I suppose I haven't been very optimistic after reading analysist's view from A J bell and Hargreaves Lansdown. I don't think anyone really knows do they ?
I apologise if I've come over negative or misinformed.
So what's your view on the future dividends?
All the time EVR shares are suspended we can't get any money. If EVR shares are traded on MOEX it will be next to impossible to get any money out, including any future dividends. If anyone can prove me wrong please do
Jotom750 I don't WANT to disprove anything. I was just saying I disagreed with all these crazy predictions of £3, £5, £7,+. When the stock is currently unable to trade. IF and when sanctions are lifted on RA, It is unlikely EVRAZ will be worth much more than £1
Can people not see the most likely outcome for Evraz ?
The chance of this stock being able to trade again on the LSE is about 10%. What happens in the future is likely to be decided by shareholders. I.E. The Russians. The most likely senario is EVRAZ will probably be listed on the Moscow Exchange. Good luck getting any money then.....
