Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Exactly
It has an equity value of £50m and assets of 190m so cant see any issue in raising capital
I read that also, would have thought they would renew it on its expiry date but seems they will wait it out till q1 end. Perhaps to buy more time, addition of 15 days, after renewal date to exercise option.
Could this be due to NOPTA renewal expiring today or is that not an issue?
If they have sold 4m shares as everyone is assuming, that would give them a tidy sum to cover the £600k and pay a penalty for a breach of contract. However they still have 60m shares, will await further news from Petrel on this.
Hopefully the £600k will turn up next week as it could take 3-5 working days for netoil to have cleared funds from the sale ;-).
maybe the escalating war is the reason that they didn't meet the deadline

I did manage to buy at 5.5 in an attempt to bring my average down, eventhough the board has lost all credibility with me as the departure news could have been better handled. The sheikhs money did help to raise the shareprice but did his reputation/experience have any baring on the industry, I think not. However his reputation is now maligned as he will be remembered by this antic by many.
On the plus, we have managed to raise 500k, exactly what the sheikh put in if i'm not mistaken, and work is progressing. I await the next update and it will need to be a blinder to keep my interest.
This has taken an incredible pounding today, cannot believe it as sub 12p. Obviously some catalysts is behind this, hopefully mass selling from the aforementioned holders.
I have now resorted to watching the live price on the toilet as I am absolutely bricking it!!!
