Hi Bamps. You have put up a good case for 100% ownership and i concur that revenues would be higher. However, i do not fully agree with a few of your points. Why would first ore be delayed. I would imagine that if newmont did change their mind they would want profit ASAP. As for control, the JV committee set up to share management. Newmont have also stated Hav and Telfer would be sold as one and i have reservations on ownership of Tefer as opposed to a 10% tolling fee with no debt or dilution.

GGP is an exploration co and as you know big new finds are the big earner.

Hi Droverman. Only $1.5 billion. Add to that the gold produced in China, they never sell. The balancing act between off loading $s and maintaining value is hard but the flow is only one way. Holding fiat is a loosing game but most investors in the west are still not taking the opportunity to load up at these suppressed prices. Some will say "but gold is at an ATH" but but against what, not oil, just other worthless fiat. Sprott have just announced that participants in one of their pm funds can no longer buy, only sell. this tells you that the liquidity providers are not selling at this level, maybe they will at a much higher price.

I am not aware of the exchanges going on in Brussels but rest assured it centers around gold and the expectations of higher prices for gold and a fall in the purchasing power of the $. ATB Speedy

The COMEX is in trouble and the bullion banks are at record levels on the short side and the billions of $s at stake will be lost as the large traders/central banks around the globe stand for delivery of physical. Imagine having a 96% leveraged bet, loosing, then having to find the gold to cover the obligation. China is adding gold and dumping USA debt at record levels and is now calling the shots on the POG. Not sure on the timing, but the paper price fixing is starting to come to an end and when it does the profits to be made from holding physical gold/silver will be real profit, not just keep up with currency debasement. This recent rise is not the normal rinse and repeat, this is the return to fair value. Soon the shorts will give up and when the ties are off 10% rises will be a daily occurrence. ATB Speedy

Hi Freddie. Explorers making a find is rare, taking that find to production is extremely rare. The most profitable businesses are the ones that control the process from start to finish. Find the gold get it out of the ground sell the refined gold to the market. With our BODs we are capable of all that. We have found the gold, are developing a mine, have a processing plant just down the road all we need is a refining plant. ATB Speedy
