If this is a mass conspiracy that no one wants you to know about - why is no one buying kits in volume from GDR.
I think - hope - that GDR SP will bounce ...one day....particularly, if they get their POC kit out. Sadly not a peep on the data that they were collecting for end of last year so can only assume the worst. But happy to be proven wrong.

But looking at trades - these are all small buys so retail. This will not change night to day.

I don't plan to buy more now. After breaking this threshold, it could fall further. I am a confused investor. It is all about the POC now (in the short term). I have hopes but silence worries me. They must know that silence spooks investors. So are they scrambling to get changes and revised data through. Don't think that DB has lied, as some suggest. His words are carefully picked. They are 'targeting' end of year for results. Well he may have got them and they are bad or they are still working on it. Clearly I prefer the latter but they do need to get their finger out, as a pandemic waits for no man!

I am in that camp. The saliva test - if accurate - could be the game changer. They will need for quite a while accurate tests at airports and ports. Plus every winter when someone comes up with symptoms...ie is it a new strain? I reviewed GDR's statement on this from last year and I had hoped some news end of year or this week to say where they have go to. I am just concerned that silence may be bad news ie results do not match expectations.

I too am semi hopeful. I am not a big GDR holder compared to some on here but I topped up a little a few days ago. I think that GDR have been given a second chance (more infectious strain, Dover and school testing, plus lateral flow quick tests being hammered but as yet no alternative - come on GDR with your salive test). Not many people get a second chance- hope that they make the most of it. It feels like that they are trying to message more through RNS - great. But agree that nothing will happen to the SP without news of sales. If they fail - not sure - I guess I go back to this being a loooooog hold.

Agree totally BB. but I think the sales are going to friends and family. irrespective of efficacy of test.

Personally think that markets will be flat to up next week. Brexit is still unclear. Read that a stimulus bill may be introduced on Monday. So GDR will probably float around this price until they get news of any sales in Europe as suggested in latest trading update. increase in covid numbers means still hope for some sales but disagree that sales will be here for years to come as some suggest. Only exception is if vaccine is proven not to stop infectiousness nature of person - then may see it for flights, for example. Anyway as you see so much uncertainty. best to hang on in there as I personally think (judgement not evidence) that more upside potential than downside risk - but here i do not think we are talking big increases .

i am working on the basis that UK testing will only be around until mid -2021 and in the US probably until the end 2021. Not sure why governments will pay for testing when they get over he rump of vaccinations. This means the quick buck is probably not there for GDR but it has a couple of more long term products that seem to be producing positive results. I think it is either get out an an opportune moment or take the longer ride as an long investor.

Dare I say it - doubt that they care too much that areas are going untested as long as the middle and upper class (ie the wealth generators) are fine. I doubt that emerging markets will get into serious debt by testing when they have a vaccine on its way. And to be clear I am still invested and waiting and waiting for a SP bounce. Will be interesting to hear DB today. It's a shame that they have just been slightly behind the curve (no one's fault) which seems to have made a significant difference versus their competitors. I still think that they have a good product but question why no one is buying it!!??

Assume we find out today....interesting to see first out of hours trade as an increase in a long position...fingers crossed!

I also saw this article. The ticker price on the article seems off as now under £5. I bought in below £5 but realised trading at a premium but i took that to be strong manager sentiment. May drop down a little further but will top up more if that happens. BG is a good stable but make sure that you are diversified.

Dave sorry to her about your paper loss. I do hope and think it will rebound one day. You are totally right - there are rampers and de-rampers on this BB but all investors should do their own due diligence before making their investment. I am cup half full still on this one. Not going to be anywhere in the of huge triple digits but I do think the sell off has been overdone. Part of investing for me is assessing human behaviour to act against the herd but also looking at the facts and making a judgement. I would have been enticed to buy more GDR but the lack of announced sales makes it hard to part with more cash. I wait for the trading update with hope
