RE: Arbitration26 Apr 2026 14:57
Agreed-that Arbitration award will be transformation. I have held that belief for over 3+ years. During that time RRR acquired more licenses in different countries and the 49% of RRAL thus increasing debt and running cash costs. All done because award was 'imminent'
Increasing amounts of debt IMO increase risk. Royalties from Mtn Ida have been a potential for 10+ years and may remain a great potential for another 10+ years or something could happen next month.
I bought RRR because I thought DRC arbitration was imminent thus I am focused on that issue. I disagreed with the other transactions as being overly dilutive to RRR's shareholders. Achieving cash flow from producing alluvial gold is great concept but never actually executed and was just noise. RRAL transaction would be fine if there was a deal on the other side which so far has not materialized and again just noise at great cost to shareholders.
Potential from housing JV is enticing and well structured however progress is slow, typical for DRC and possibility of never actually getting any cash out of the DRC is very problematic. Is housing just noise as well? I have no idea. RRR's track record of promising future events is close to zero which does not bode well for this either. Can tangible progress actually be achieved?
AB is once again in the DRC-waiting, so he believes it is close
His perseverance on the DRC is quite remarkable which I find very commendable. He believes in the potential even though it not yet tangible.
