The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Talkinto- Yes AB 4 sells in 2022 however you left out the 4 buys (was that intentional?)
For 2022 AB had a net buy of about 9 million shares
fyi lots of research that shows insiders sell more than buy shares on a 4:1 ratio, which is why an insider buying is such a positive indicator. Lots of reasons to sell (including multiple reason having nothing to do with the future prospects of the company) and only one reason to buy (shares are going up)
Your attempt at misinformation is exactly why readers of this forum need to do their own research
Bluevoy 1975 That's always the case anytime a stock makes a big move up. There is now a larger base of RRR shareholders who have low (hopefully low) and take profit when it goes higher.
Others, like me, who have a higher cost basis might be more inclined to wait until they can get the cost back.
This is where a good PR strategy comes into play -ie tell the story in such a way that there is an ongoing incentive to hold on. Such as if DRC cash comes in then even bigger money comes into play
If BR can generate positive cash flow then it would eliminate the ongoing issuance of new shares thus limited the avaible supply
JFK8 No demand???
This ignores the demand for 509,804,000 shares as disclosed in today's RNS
I find it interesting that no update on Burkina Faso was released. Historically RRR issues news/update prior to a share placing so this time its different.
Will there be good news next week and this placing is time for the friendly parties to load up on shares?
Prior posters were commenting during the week that the availability
of shares was very limited
I put a bottom at .055 to .06. I might be wrong so do your own DD
My observations
1-Placing was long overdue. IMO it speaks to AB's belief that DRC cash is indeed close
2-If this achieves putting Burkina Faso into production then this creates tremendous value for RRR and is well worth it
3-RRR's market cap is so incredibly low, less than $2.5 M that it took so many shares to raise that amount of money
4-this dilution is the result of seeds planted years ago when RRR began obtaining or filing for addition licenses.
5-If this is the start of large gold market market rally this price should be the bottom of the market
Only 8 trades---hopefully the lull before the storrm while we wait for news on Burkina Faso
Given the large price increase in gold it would be reasonable to say that the implied value of Indicated ($25) & inferred ($4.25)
A April 2024 value should be a minimum 2x-to 4x for a $26m to $52 million value just for Migori
Compared to a RRR market cap of less than $3 million
Lots of room for RRR share price to move up. +possibility of DRC cash, gold production in Burkina Faso. + + +
Re New's comment about Rick Rule and LARGE GLOBAL FAMILY OFFICES,
That global interest in gold stock is great but if you believe that non UK residents can not buy RRR's shares is it relevant?
Are RRR's shares able to take advantage of this global interest if buying RRR's share is limited to the UK (as you previously stated)?
for the record I believe it is possible but admittedly not everyone has a brokerage account that allows this
Money is starting to flow to CDN expiration companies it will start to happen to the uK AIM as well

OMG Due Diligence. What a great concept!!!
If AB had done this it would have prevented that meeting/Agreement who had no legal authority from VUP.
-Avoided losses from BreX. Enron the list can go and on.
You definitely need to spread the NEWS about DUE DILIGENCE.
Information like this is why I took News off filter.
No time for further posts today I need help spread the word about DUE DILIGENCE
News so in summary your position
RRR-no changes needed
Non Brit's buying AIM shares/Brits buying OTC shares- Despite News now stating that buying shares is a personal business News commented that it was not possible for non British person to buy RRR shares.
News does not need to read or learn how to do it because not knowing is acceptable
News Personally I try to keep an open mind and if facts contradict my opinion then I need to accept reality. if you want to try it then read RRR financial disclosures which shows share transactions with non Brits
LOL a lot of words to basically say that you won;t/can't explain it because every British person knows
Multiple brokerage accounts, multiple bank accounts with different currencies are very common in Canada. I have known several people in the UK throughout the years and they were able to buy US otc shares, open brokerage accounts, buy Canadian shares etc. I thought this was common expertise for UK residents but apparently not.
You claim FOREIGNERS can not own AIM shares. Quick google search shows
1) https://finty.com/ca/investing/aim/ How to invest in the AIM from Canada
2) https://finty.com/us/investing/aim/ How to invest in the AIM from the US
I am sure there are more websites with similar information
Of course UK citizen can purchase US OTC share. just use Google to find one. If your 'standard broker' wont allow you then find another broker. Its really not hard. If need assistance call them.
Your attitute/approach is just shocking which is best described as "Everything at RRR is fine" "No changes are needed" "No changes should be even be discussed)
Look at the 2023 share performance IMO changes should be considered
MM are supposed to maintain an orderly market in North America. It is debatable what an 'orderly market' actually is and even more debatable if the MM actually perform that task.
I brought up this subject (MM) due to a comment made in this forum that MM's hold down price. IMO the price is set by supply & demand. Yes MM's will take advantage of their position for large spreads etc
A gold rally is un like any other type of market rally. It can push even bad companies higher and good companies to XX multiples. This is why I mentioned that RRR should be issuing multiple RNS to highlight the gold aspect as opposed to 2023 where it was primarily Lithium
Do MM set the price of a stock on AIM?
In Canada/US market markers held ensure an orderly market of buy & selling but they dont set the price. In North America price is established by supply & demand
IMO I think RRR should be making weekly announcements on their gold projects
Certainly a Canadian public gold exploration company would be making more news announcements but maybe that's just not done on the UK AIM
Site visits- My hope would be a site visits by brokers and research analysts
Draft award- The original JV had 3 partners. I would imagine the 3rd partner would also want part of the money
RRR/AB public disclosures and comments over the past several years rightly focus on their own efforts to get paid but IMO it would make sense that the 3rd JV partner would want to get paid. If so there would create additional issues that the arbitrator would quite rightly want to consider before any order on how the $15 million is to be paid
News so does RRR meet your investment criteria?
If the commonly used definition of a word is not use then there is no understanding
If I wanted to define my bathroom as a 'bank' then when write "I went to the bank today' the reader will not understand. If I write "I went to the bank today and made a deposit" then that misunderstanding will increase (although it is funny IMO) Note-Withdrawals from my 'bank' are not recommended.
