Banbury- right now there is no tangible news. RRR is in meeting in Zimbabwe and then off to Dubai for more meetings.

Currently people are buying in anticipate of concrete news. News which could be (emphasis on could be) very significant and dramatically impact RRR's share price. Time will tell if the buying is justified.

Its OK if you do not believe that these meeting will be productive while others believe that something will happen, this is what makes a market-buyers and sellers.

-no apparent promotion or push from UK side so where did trading volume come from?

a) potential Chinese sources who know the likely outcome of upcoming meetings?

b) potential leaks from Congo sources who know $ will be released?

c) potential leaks from Zimbabwe meeting of miner contracted to do work (apparently he is based in UK)

d) total fluke?

In Canada high trading volume is usually followed by more trading volume. For RRR there was panic buying pushing it to .2. IMO this is usually a sign of an sophisticated or rich investor wanting to get in quickly. Ask your self selves why? Do they know something? think they know something? or dont know anything at all?

Foreign Exchange Controls

The DRC is a dollarized economy, and most institutions accept U.S. dollars or Congolese francs. The government limits the amount of foreign exchange that companies can repatriate out of the country. Mining companies must repatriate 60 percent of their export earnings to a DRC bank, while the remaining 40 percent can be placed in a foreign bank.

Virtually all people above age 5 are ""versatile" At that age they can walk, talk, eat, tie shoelaces, put on clothes and any number of varied tasks demonstrating their versatility. As a parent I certainly welcomed my children developing such skills.

So kudo's to an adult who must face significant personal challenges in his life to highlight this type of accomplishment.

Thanks Helpful the message in that tweet would been good in the RNS. I suspect the framework of a deal has been done since RRR's new technical person has switched employment.

I found this tidbit interesting.

"The CEO of the Company is currently in Zimbabwe to plan operations, together with an entrepreneur with decades of African experience, Mr Sam Mahendran, and his team of consultants including Dr Willem Smuts and Mr Dirk Benade, BSc, who is transferring from the Company's payroll to that of Mr Mahendran."

So RRR/ALR recently hired expert, Dirk Benade, is now working with someone else who is looking at this project.

Re NOMAD I have never been an officer or Director of a public UK company so my knowledge is limited to what I read or learn which often can be quite different from reality. This is my understanding.

A NOMAD is an advisor to a UK listed company to assist and guide the company to comply with the exchange rules.

To me this means RRR bears responsibility for the accuracy of its news releases. In those efforts the NOMAD will review a RRR new release and if warranted ask for information which supports any material statements made by RRR. For example if RRR wants to announce a victory in the Congo the NOMAD would want to see supporting documentation. If RRR announces I am in Zimbabwe and there is nothing new to report then the NOMAD would accept

NOMAD-- disclosure is not about what the NOMAD will let RRR say. It is about what actual facts support what RRR wants to disclose. NO FACTS THEN NO DISCLOSURE ALLOWED

This meeting is interesting but we really dont know much about it. Posters have commented that the Chinese would not travel to Dubai unless they had serious interest. However that is based on the presumption that it is their sole basis for their trip. It ignores the possibility that the Chinese have other meetings scheduled and the RRR meeting just happens to fill a gap in their schedule.

DRC -We have the story before of a 'deal to be done' then it turned out the person making the proposal lacked the proper legal authority. This has been 99% done for months. I hope it happens but that (hope) is far different from reality

IMO AB is bit vague- Is he going to Congo or leaving Zimbabwe back to London and connecting via Dubai to have meetings he referenced earlier

Banbury-RNS on 50% couple comments 1) I doubt it was made in writing and perhaps not even a formal offer

2) was it made a person with authority, again I doubt it

IMO this is just a tease and therefore meaningless with respect to the fundamental issue which IMO is: When and how much money will be received? Any RNS needs to be factual and concrete

Comments- Even an offer was made by someone with proper authority (doubtful) even the suggestion of a compromise starts a downward slope of less money. This ignore the problem of not accepting the rule of law and continuing to do business in that country.

Still a positive note that Congo is alive, however slow that might be.

Does this mean AB is flying to Dubai for more meetings? It implies that at some level the Chinese are satisfied with technical aspects and the higher level Chinese are meeting with AB to discuss a business deal beyond just buying product delivered to a port. IE Chinese might be funding lithium into production similar to what they have done elsewhere in Zimbabwe

'dodgy' promoters live everywhere and conduct business everywhere. Ask yourself when was the last time a stock broker called you and said 'sell'. Probably never. IMO brokers are the worst. At least with X or twitter you know everyone is biased. Just like on this board everyone is biased, including me. I can try hard to interpret information objectively but I own RRR shares so I am biased just like anyone else who owns shares.

Its been a great short. Actually most junior mining companies are great shorts

re potential Chinese deal-I have no idea what the Chinese have already done or what they might do in the future.

The Chinese (or any other potential buyer, funder, etc) will do what ever they believe need to do before completing a deal.

There are a lot of answered questions and RRR/AB has a history of not being transparent.

We may or may not get definitive answers from this Zimbabwe trip. We may get some information which generate more questions.

I do believe travel by the CEO is necessary. International travel is expensive and time consuming. Those issues are compounded when RRR has interests in multiple countries.

47% ALR held by RRR- I suspect that RRR has the largest interest (this means I doubt one entity holds the remaining 53%). In any event I would also suspect that part of the agreement is protection for the minority interests. Put another way if RRR held 75% would you put up cash for the remaining 25% without some sort of assurance? (ie minority protection)?

Income from Lithium -meeting with partners in Zimbabwe with potential buyer. If positive that meeting could determine:

a-sales price

b-volume

c-delivery time frame

d-RRR monthly income a times b times c

e-plant financing- Chinese have advanced funds for other plants to be built but will they do that for ALR/RRR?

FTX paying Bankman-Fried

What do you think the FTX shareholders think about all the money Bankman-Fried got paid.

Banbury If a deal is made it could go in any number of directions such as

1- no deal

2-deal limited to purchase of lithium when delivered

3- deal could include plant financing

4-deal could include cash on signing

5-deal could include an investment into RRR (doubtful but possible)
