I've heard 2 dates though none have been confirmed, 26th March & 16th June. I'm not even sure if they will give a definitive date as they've been putting this off for a while now.

They cancel them off immediately I'm sure, the below were quoted in 'Transaction in own shares' RNSs following daily buybacks.

28th Feb - 8,504,126,906 Ordinary Shares in issue.

11th March - 8,498,501,922 Ordinary Shares in issue.

12th March - 8,497,843,270 Ordinary Shares in issue.

There's Qatari investment but not sure on Saudi.

You would imagine that the government would want to weight it heavily in RR's favour and help the economy, energy independence and job creation that it would bring but with Starmer and Milliband involved you just never know what lunacy will happen.

If the US does indeed go into recession and the US markets keep going the way they have been recently then I do think we could be in for a prolonged tough time of things. Of course I wish I had sold above 800p but today was unexpected to say the least.

I'll wait and see how this week pans out, it is only Monday and if there's a few more days like this then it could keep dropping. I may come back in but had to bank the profit for now for my own sanity.

I sold the lot today, far too much risk given that level of drop that didn't seem like stopping. I'll now hold the cash until things settle. Can't complain with my gain, all in an ISA and held since 2020. Good luck everyone.

No, not for an almost 5% drop. It’s the US that’s causing it.

It will be interesting to see what happens when the US opens, keep dropping, steady or rise?

To say it’s been volatile recently would be an understatement though RR has been able to keep climbing except for today.
