CC, if anyone has a large enough holding that they would risk for example, 1,000,000 from a possible 6-10M holding by selling into an anticipated drop, then good luck to them.

I am fairly sure that one or two of our LTHs do this on a regular basis, and if they do, then I'm delighted for them. It's their own risk and in the long term does me and others absolutely no harm whatsoever as my SP expectations are way north of here. In fact, they actually help me out on some occasions, as I have added on a few of the drops when I've had extra funds available.

If you, like me, believe in the fundamentals then you can have no issue with anyone else's strategy as it will do you zero harm over the next few years.

Is it possible that if Fortune is aware and possibly disappointed that First Island have been exiting their investment instead of doing what FM may have expected from such an investor, he is still deliberating over the redistribution policy and taking long enough to ensure that he does First Island no favours with the SP.

Holding back the dividend news until he and his board fully agree on the policy is completely justified. Confirm the decision soon after FI have cleared off and move on from there. Goodbye First Island.

Is it possible that the weak seller, as previously discussed, is now being duped by the MMs. We previously surmised that they had set a limit of 40p, but it would appear that this is now lower. Could the MMs be pushing it lower to deliberately convince the seller that they need to accept below 40p in the knowledge that the seller is perhaps unaware that it is actually the MMs that are driving the lower price rather than the market itself. In doing so, they also maximise the profit on their short position and simply call on the sellers shares as and when they need them.

This could be a lot of tosh, but having watched the 25% drop over the last few weeks, you have to think that there's definitely games going on and someone is being duped.

Time will tell. Their supply will either run dry or a decent RNS will land and put an end to the games.

On the brighter side, it's allowing many LTHs and newbies to top up or get in at bargain prices....locking even more shares out of the system.

Looks like the same pattern as yesterday morning. Unable to get any price form Barclays to sell even 5000 shares. Why, if they need our shares, would the MMs not even give me a price for any amount when we are down at 39p. Something does not add up if Alfa's numbers are correct

Barclays are 40p to sell so someone could be right about a deliberate walk down as per last week, but it appears to be coming back up already.

41.43p for another 12051 for me. Will look cheap as chips within weeks.

I'd not be surprised to see a few more larger sells dropped in to try and pull back down from 42p now that we have been walked down and come back up. The MMs will try again in the hope that they pick up a few sales.

In terms of the cost of the penalty, especially the early settlement figure, the market should hardly blink. In terms of how and when it happened and how much the board has been changed/boosted since, the market should hardly blink.

BUT this is AIM and we should expect the MMs to take full advantage. I'll be buying on any overdone dips.

I’d have thought that Sets order book would be less inclined to be so easily controlled by MMs and therefore more closely aligned to buy/sell pressures

If you choose to buy and hold your shares as I and many others have done, whilst also adding on any interim dips as funds become available, then simply wait until the fundamentals over-ride all other aspects, whether this be "shorting" or "waves" etc....then you can most certainly buck the market.

I have an average price of around 4p with over 1.2M shares and will not be selling until I reach my target price. How is that not bucking the market?

Sounds very simply and extremely exploitative Alfa. Perhaps FM could stuff their plans right up and just give us news on the Dividend Policy front.....that would surely end the current game...game, set and match
