Heard it through a contact in RR SMRs that Amazon and still around. I also thought it would be tied up by an American design. I can only guesst that if the Amazon data centre ( guess thats where they will used) the RR design would be the quickest way forward as I don't think Westinghouse or Holtec have a design which is justified for the UK - time will tell.

This move may give confidence to Czech utility ČEZ to get their contracts finalised. Then, maybe just maybe, Amazon

Yes it did. My point is that blindly thinking it'll be more valuable in 12 months is dangerous. other examples, Railtrak, ICI, Northern Rock. Ive been into RR since the 80s its been up and down like a ......over that time.
