Can anyone who actually works at Royces confirm orb deny the rumour I've heard that there is a backlog of BA engines they can't refurbish for return to the BA fleet due to a shortage of parts. Only people in the know need reply.

So, its a reasonable opinion.

I'll need to ponder on that. I believe that although RR reports in gbp it trades a lot in US dollars. I think thats the way I understand it.

I totally agree that reducing the number of share held is hard. I'm retired, at the beginning of each month I go through our accounts,[sipp, isas premium bonds etc] to check how things are going. When I get to my RR shares the increase is not trivial. Sensible side of the brain 😇 shouts, "You're retired get it cashed in". The other side of the brain 🤡 whispers 'oh arh!, just a little bit more"
