Doesn’t surprise me I thinking a sell of 5 or 10k caused the drop earlier and it hasn’t appeared this smacks of some MMs having stock issues IMHO

No warrants just share options if they hit the following

1. 50% of shares if SP of 250p at FY 23
2. Remains 50% at 650p FY 23

They will get 100% easily and nice to see SP based performance indicators

Long term if the fundamentals are sound always wins out in the end. People will sell and people will buy each have there reasons.

But eventually value wins out. I have been up and down with this stock with extreme volatility but the trajectory is up.

I have been investing since late 1990s and had a few opportunities to make serious money, I have held ARM, ASC to name a couple but never had the courage to hold long term.

I bought YU in various large amounts around the 50-60p mark and still holding every single share and actually added along the way and hold a very big slab of shares.

I will not sell a single one until 1000p which was my target in late 2018

This business was valued at £12 a share in early 2018 and now it is significantly strong, well capitalised, profitable and growing faster than a fin tech stock.

I will retire on my YU holding it is just a matter of time because even if the market doesn’t value it at an industry PE the cash sloshing around will dwarf the market cap in a couple of years so the SP has to move up.

We haven’t even reached the point of forced buying by Investment funds due to MC when this comes all hell breaks loose

Dividend isn’t something I am personally bothered about, I want YU to be 1000p + company this time next year if the £500m revenue is looking good.

That is 160m MC which is not unrealistic if 2023 goes as planned and also worth noting YU have for the past few year smashed every target they have set by huge margins to to change 500m from vision to target for 2023 speaks volumes.

Also I fully expect the following catalysts in the short/ medium term.

1. Dividend
2. A merger/ paper deal or acquisition of a rival in the 100m turnover bracket and I really think bulbs SME book maybe on the cards so octopus take the domestic and YU the 14000 SMEs.

To answer your questions
1. Yu are the only SME supplier that provides all services including water.
2. They are heavily digitising
3. They have hit the point of massive profit growth a lot of rivals do not have the critical mass yet like BES and smartest business energy you need turnover above 150m to really hit the economic benefits.

I could go on and on

With regards to spot price or gas falling I doubt personally it will fall that much for several years and any weakness clients will lock in long term deals so do I expect a decrease in turnover, no and not for several years and can actually see YU reaching 1b in 5 years as they have gone for 80m to hopefully 500m in 4 years.

Always like reading your posts and very informed. I agree something is going on in the background and out of the blue an RNS will drop.

Some very bold statements made in H1 - significantly shareholder value and £500m+ turnover for 2023.

Time scales also come across as short, this in my mind is within a financial quarter (3 months) as we are now we’ll into Q4 so FY figures will already to have started forming. So to make a suggestion not vision of £500m+ in 2023 shouts some form of certainty in my eyes

Wonder octopus will take the 14,000 SMEs as well ? Probably but you never know

Very interesting Mr Goldsmith water a long with EV and smart meters have a huge growth opportunity running into huge numbers and these are only just taking off, never mind the elec and gas side

5 years time this company could be heading towards £1b turnover

Take a look at YU water on companies house turned over 1.7m and made 1/4m profit. Actually grown a lot was surprised.

Energy is, results across the sector outstanding YU just recently like TEP smashing estimates. remember this environment of inflation, energy and interest rates hasn’t really got going yet. Retailers are in for a torrid 12 months before things pick up

Strong today, long may it continue as we charge to £3

Also people and companies obviously looking to tie in multiple offering for a discount

Oh yeah YU the only business supplier who do water, gas, electric and EV

Goes to show there is only one sector in town doing well and it’s utilities especially after the gov support which de risks bad debt potential.

No brainier here

They would be a good fit like smartest business both well run but declining turnover the last couple of years.
