Trading update tomorrow ? H1 numbers are the 26th trading update tomorrow would be awesome, do you know something I don’t ?

I have held YU for 5 years and never seen a spread so tight.

Going to move one way or the other dramatically as MMs very confident to operate in such a tight range so tells me upwards is what they are anticipating

Also, regardless of the SP costs I see nothing across the entirety of the LSE that offers growth in earning, dividend, cash flow and turnover, even at this price I can a doubling and tripling of the SP over the next couple of years especially when the big investors want a piece of the action which they will

I take your point SNN, the SP is irrelevant it’s the Market Cap that drives but psychologically it tough getting very little shares for a large cash outlay.

I see YU moving into a new phase in 2024 with a push towards 2000p as larger holders come on board for the Dividends, looks like we have the old CFO selling down which is holding us back but once he is gone I think all bets are off SP wise especially if H1 numbers surprise the market yet again.

As IP has said if they are still soaring ahead could be a trading update prior as we close in on the end of Q3 FY numbers will start to from up. The big question is how close or has 500m turnover going to be beaten ?

This is YU group anything is possible. 5 times last year numbers got upgraded, one so far this year already and I expect at least 1-2 more this year

Indeed, all it has done today is make the stock more appealing, harsh fall today for no the reason than the nagging suspicion he is selling down or the options got sold today. Those selling today could have sold at over £10 not 2 trading days ago and only a couple of weeks away from a bumper H1 announcement. The mind boggles at some people

Interesting you mention that as YU are one of not very many energy supplier on the government procurement portal which opens up a huge swath of opportunities across Government, not just local gov, but NHS, MOD, schools to name a few. Obviously this has always been the domain of the big 6 but times are changing folks

Easy to get shot of 500k I expect with current MC and dividend growth plenty of IIs will be watching. If Parker is silly enough to sell on the cusp of a major few years ahead he is more incompetent than I thought.

Agreed Parker should have gone to prison for incompetence not rewarded like this. At least we now have a really good CFO .

We have a seller and we have a buyer, no way 31k stock was sold at 997p it was a buy picking up the 10k sells.

Be careful because once the stock swapping at this level finishes , blast off

Especially when 10k sold and not a delayed trade which tells me MMs are very comfortable to take stock.

They got stripped good and proper, side liquidity and explains why £10 was problematic as buy outstripped sells for days. All history now and the next few days will be telling retest below 10 or push to 11 ?

Long way to go yet SP, only when growth starts to slow and with less than 1% market penatration and I was shocked at 14k new clients in H1 alone could be 50-60k by year end as they are obviously eating away now at the big 6
