You paint a very rosy picture 😉
Can you disclose any direct or indirect interest you have in Springfield
Inflation remains at 4%, better than expectations of 4.2%, hopefully price will recover this morning
UK earnings growth higher than expected
US inflation higher than expected
UK inflation figures out tomorrow, market is expecting higher figures which means interest rates will need to stay high for longer, all builders are being hammered
Should help all the builders, whose next?
I was surprised too, looked at investing in HDIV before deciding on BIPS, the placing seems to benefit Invesxo through increased management fees rather than existing holders
On the flip side does show ii's have confidence in Bips
Looks like dividend will be slashed next year
Proposed final dividend of 11.5 pence per share. Total dividend for FY23 to be in line with prior year at 17.0 pence per share. The Board expects to return to its policy of 2.5 times cover going forward
Let's hope the share price rises 5% like persimmon yesterday 🙂
I'm not a big fan of platforms that charge a percentage, i prefer to pay a flat rate take a look at ii

It all depends how much you have in you pot of course
Even if it drops we still have a dividend to look forward too
The div is the reason I bought, the capital gains are a bonus 🙂
Thin market today most peeps still of work
A little xmas present off the Fed, no more rises, looking at 3 cuts next year :-)
My best investment too got the timing right for once buying below par, holding in both my SIPP and ISA, looks like 2024 is going to be a prosperous year for us both :-)
I never thought they would fall this far, we need a RNS from the company, clarifying the current trading position and highlighting the potential upside in 2024
Hi Dminvestor
I share your concerns about the price that maybe offerred if these preference shares are bought out, and recently sold my holdings at a small loss and moved into TW. which was offering a yield of > 7% at the time, higher risk but with a chance of capital growth as interest rates fall
This board isn't very active and as you have quite a few of these you maybe interested in this discussion forum, which is more active discussing preference shares / Pibs and Bonds

Good luck with your investments :-)
