Have you actually fully digested what was in the RNS, and the targets they have to hit before they can even apply to purchase those options.

Like you say, It won't worry one jot if we surpass the old ATH. We will just have to agree to disagree regarding who's fault it was for the suppression of the SP.

Probably not far off.

From recollection both Gervaise & Callum had around 110 million each.

Callum as far as we can tell still retains around 85 ish million.

Not sure how many Borelli has, but I’m sure it’s in the high tens of millions.

Happy to be proven wrong as not checked for a while.

And just so there is no misunderstanding, I’m with you all the way that I personally think we will surpass 38.5p.

Everyonesawinner, I didn’t see you or anyone else complaining about the hundreds of millions of shares issued to the old management of GGP, and they were issued at a fraction of what today’s announcement was.

So do you think it fair that Gervaise, Callum & Alex got those shares for not producing any cash flow too ?

You know as well as most, that when investing into any AIM company, this is what happens.

Like you say, you believe we will surpass the ATH, so what is the problem. They make money, thus in turn we all make money.

If you don’t want these types of shares issued, then don’t go a give your approval the next time they ask for the resolutions to be granted.

Well I think most companies would be chuffed if there market cap suddenly went up £300M.

Wouldn’t yours be, and how much commission would you have paid out to achieve it ?

I’m not surprised at all with a few here thinking they are getting the 5-hitty end of the stick when referring to the incentive options.

It’s the same old same old, where money is involved, some get very jealous of what others can get.

Everyonesawinner your not the only one here who’s gains from 2020 have been decimated. But you did have the chance to cash in your gain but decided against it.

You obviously thought the SP at the time was going to go a lot higher, but unfortunately it reversed even though some were telling us we were well overvalued.

Now who was correct, us or them.

I concede I got it wrong, because I was attributing SP value as the value of the gold ounces in the ground, thinking we were worth Billions.

This has been a massive learning curve for almost all LTH’s, but after seeing what’s gone on over the last three years, GGP have been battling for its life to fend off the wolves.

I’ve curbed my expectations from that of 2020, and am quite happy to wait this out, because I believe SD will do as he says and provide us ultimately with a very strong sustainable company going from strength to strength.

But it will take time.

People all revert back to the 38p we achieved, not really understanding the reason why that happened.

In hindsight it’s easy to look back, but foresight is a bit more difficult.

For me it’s about hanging in there until such time we start to see free cash flow, and that time is not too far away.

Everyonesawinner, if you don’t like it why not feather your own nest.

They will have to pay 11.9p for their incentives.

Today you can buy some for 7.25p, much lower than what SD can.

I think people are missing the point here regarding the 302 million options that have just been granted.

They’re not free shares, they will have to stump up just short of £36M if they decide to take their full allocation.

Now anybody in their right mind wouldn’t be purchasing those shares unless they were worth more than they were being asked to pay for them.

So I would assume that they are hoping to at least double that investment, to around 24p.

I think that’s a huge positive from where we are currently, thus it should benefit every shareholders value, and triple it by the expiry date of 2026.

That’ll certainly do for me for starters, but hopefully more.

So then Toffers, who’s twisting things now Eh ?

Who was it that said these words on the 21-08-23 at 20:44.

I’ve called out several folk on this BB as you well know, but mainly for being so contradictory on their investment.

I had a go at Toffers the other day for suddenly changing tack, when she said we were now worth a minimum of £5B, when for the last two months she’s been saying we’re going T-i-t-s Up and she was bailing at 25p.

At least with me you know exactly where you stand.

That can’t be said for others.

All I was trying to do was very much simplify the fact that like you eloquently said “ VE are entirely disinterested in whether the GDXJ fund as a whole is making money for its investors. As long as GGP is a material index component, GDXJ will have a holding. The managers don’t care about buying low and selling high. That’s not their job”.

We could of both written 10,000 words on the subject, but all I was trying to do, was put it in layman’s terms, that most would understand, inc Freddie.

I’ve never been one to not admit my mistakes, but we can’t always write chapter & verse on a particular subject, especially on a bulletin board such as this, otherwise the natives will get restless 😂

Freddie it doesn’t matter what Van Eck pay for their shares, it ain’t their money, it’s their investors money.

They are completely different to you and I, whereby we might watch the price all to often for our liking.

They on the other hand are only interested in that the overall fund makes money, not individual companies within that fund.

That is why when you hear about the GDX & GDXJ funds being down, like in 2015 when they were 85% down from two years earlier, they don’t sell out, they stick at it as they know in the long run the fund will hopefully recover.

Just like most days, GGP shares finish on an uncrossing trade which is either higher or lower than the actual range the SP was trading at.

It will almost inevitably open up the next day in the range it was trading at before the UT.

Just like in September 2021 when the GDXJ first bought in. The range was 21p but closed out on the UT @ 29p, only to retreat back to 21p on the Monday following Friday’s UT.

The MM’s can basically ask what they want for the shares when someone needs them, especially an etf who are abiding by their own rules.

Mm’s knowing that this was about to happen need to find shares from somewhere. Where else can they get those shares from ?

By conning Pi’s to give up theirs that’s how.

Why do you think we dropped to 5.95p ?

If they had raised the price the previous week, then Pi’s would of been buying, thus making it even more difficult for the mm’s to supply what their client needed.

If you take the time to see how Van Eck do their rebalancing, it’s not hard to figure out whether they are going to buy or sell. It ain’t rocket science, and can be used to your advantage once you learn the rules.

Personally I don’t think it will be as simple as some people think, to dispose of Telfer, even with the 70% of Havieron thrown in as a sweetener.

I’m not saying they won’t try, and that is why imo they are still going hell for leather to get to the top of the orebody asap.

That way they can package it as a ready to go mine.

But the sticking plaster to me is the fact that GGP still have the right of refusal in their armoury, so any possible suitors, after spending lots of money preparing for a buyout of NCM/NEW’s Telfer & Havieron assets, could at the end of the day get gazumped by a GGP/Wyloo bid.

For the foreseeable, it’s a case of who blinks first.
