On the face of it, it looks like the market doesn't have faith in John Lyttle when you are watching asos rise and boohoo stagnate....

I believe the above is probably very true, he joined in late 2018 when the business was getting going and then little over a year later the pandemic fueled buying kicked in - none of this was due to his management.

When he joined the business had 250 million in the bank and they raised another 200 million from the market, since then he has brought plt earlier than contracted to and spent another 100 million on various other companies leaving the business with no cash.

Imagine being one of the investors that took part in the placing at 340p?! I doubt they're happy.

He has got to go and be replaced by someone with vision.

There's a bit more to it though when you try to compare asos to boohoo.. If you track the last 5 years they are both 89 percent down from top to bottom.

400p within 3 year's and 375k clear profit.... Tax free!

The classic private investor's mistake is to ride a share down into a loss then sell as soon as they break even on the way back up... Then sit and watch the price continue up missing big profits...

It's the need for instant stress relief that causes it...

Also you hear people sell at a loss and say they are relieved.... That relief can soon turn to despair when a share reverses and rises...

Every emotion in the stock market is temporary and can change at the flick of a switch.

If you are here for the long term then you are better off letting management concentrate on running the day to day business than releasing an rns for every time they pop to the toilet.

Im looking for management to outline a clear plan back to a market leading profit margin at the full year results.

Much like the new ceo at asos has just done with a route to 300 million per year profit - this is the reason why asos has out performed boohoo since they both updated.

If they don't outline a route to profit thenJohn Lyttle simply has to stand down, he can't keep hiding behind macro economics.

Great you could easily think the high street is still growing a bit

Then put that into context that 30 percent of high street clothing shops have closed in the last 2 years...

If in the last 2 year's 30 percent of stores in your sector have closed and your sales have only risen 10 percent in 5 year's the math's are pretty simple.... Your sector is shrinking.

Same with next - revenue growth of 20 percent in 5 years..

It seems they want to scream buyer's are moving online.... But they're whispering it.... The whispers will get louder... And louder...

Id like to see the ceo put a few million of his own money in, not at 43p however, id like to see him buy on the way up above a quid at least... Why should he benefit from the current price ?

Has just gone short on rr with a new ceo at the helm brought on board to transform the company.... What could possibly go wrong ... was 400p now trading at 110p....

All I've done is post factual figure's from the company.... If that seems rampy then obviously the facts are good....

I don't believe boohoo is going to revover in a way that many think..

There's not going to be a steady rise day by day..

I think this will bumble along driven by day trading for a long while...

Then when the market is satisfied boohoo is back on track (and it will) there is going to be one hell of a meteoric rise... Similar to how thw Yu. Group recovery has gone...

Asos has also had a usa distribution centre for the last 5 year's, I also noted asos has been in and out of dept throughout the years.

You can clearly see that boohoo is engaging much better with the usa market while not even having the ability to do next day delivery as asos could/can.

It tells you people are willing to wait that bit longer for a product they want/desire. (plt is the star here)

Soon boohoo will be next day delivery in usa so you can see why management believe the usa market is so good.

The profits will come back very quickly here and reach new record levels within 3 year's.

The share price will follow at some point on to record highs.
