I think the market is giving him too much credit.

Lost 135 million of nastygal revenue leaving the turnover at a measly 5 million

Taken loads and pay day interest rates

Anyone can see this is in its usual struggling pattern before a massive down turn.....

They way the deluded are posting anyone would think management were forthcoming with all the numbers that matter...

Surprised nobody here shared the recent financial times article on the group.... Stating how risky it is to put all their eggs in the debenhams basket.... You could say the proof is in the pudding with all other brands absolutely tanking year after year.... 500 million revenue gone in in 2 years while debs market plqce gained 50 million revenue....

The thing is if Umar wins the local Padel competition that could bring in some extra adjusted ebitda.... Combine that Dan winning a few bets on the horse racing while entertaining customers and it could all come together nicely.... Top that off with a few more million in bonuses to retain top tier management and this will fly.....
