How funny - are you seriously saying that a rights issue of 1.34 shares for every share you have doesn't affect the ability of the share price to get back to where it was before the issue?!

Lloyds bank was used as an example of a company not getting back to its previous price (before the financial crash)

The pre crash price was around 3 quid

If you think 3 quid now is the same as the 3 quid pre rights issue then you are a tad mistaken.

Off the top of my head and if im not mistaken the new 3 quid would be around 1.20 after the dilution of all the extra shares.

Then add to this the lack of profit and dividends for a good few years and all the wrong doing and compensation the bank then owed for miss selling products etc etc....

Are you getting the picture why it was a stupid example??

I know quite a few people believe the hybrid model is the way forward.... But it really isn't.... It's there staring you in the face telling you it's not...

Within 3 years over 80 to 85 percent of their revenue will be online - a company that started out only as a high street retailer.

You admit to knowing much about them then go on to say they are probably valid examples.... Ridiculous when lloyds had a rights issue doubling the share issue, plus losses on top of losses and lost dividends.

Don't confuse being negative on a company with bashing..... There is a big difference....

You know like this morning comparing boohoo to companies that have done massive rights issues and saying those companies never recovered? That sort of bashing and lies which you seem to miss.

Lloyds which was massively diluted

Lloyds which was part of the biggest banking collapse that nearly finished the financial system completely.

Lloyds that was overvalued due to stupid people believing banks could never fail. (only to watch some of the biggest financial institutions in the world dissappear over night.)

Lloyds that made 11 billion of losses in one part of its bank.

And you wonder why it never got back to a fiver.

Think it's you brain that has never recovered from glen hitting 120 taking your soul and making you cry.

Oh and fyi - BT also did a rights issue diluting shareholders.....

SO THATS WHY BOTH COMPANIES WILL NEVER RECOVER.

Worth noting just how quick the boohoo share price can rise....

People forget that boohoo hit problems shortly after ipo sending the sp to less than 30p...

The sp struggled to get out of the 30s for 14 months...

When it did it then hit over 250p in less than 15 months.....With revenues of approx 500 million and pbt of 43

Where do you see the sp with revenues over 1.5 billion and pbt of 120 to 140 once every falls into place.....??? Far north of 250p that's for sure.
