Massive buy volume in Jangada today.

Seems to be already a top 5 volume day over the whole of last year at mid-day today.

Big Buys seem to have been above ask prices also, but share price hasn’t moved yet. Weird.

Now we know why. Stinking market makers! Go Harvest! Great market tailwinds for it everywhere.

Wonder if they’ll start selling into international markets too? Their products seem highly competitive & importantly much more environmentally friendly...Could secure lots of sales outside Brazil too.

Hopefully a 3rd party can validate their claims AND they can actually make the stuff in volume. Lab results seem v promising though right now.

Buy & hold is certainly a strategy but as you say sparse news flow isn’t helping.

Similarly management don’t seem particularly sharp wrt shareholder returns. Like their market & setup but management needs to improve comms, regularity & importantly better drive shareholder value.

Are ADVFN’s numbers on Harvest Minerals correct? They have:-

> Net Tangible Value per Share at 7.88p

If right it’s business is valued at less than cash!? Seems crazy & likely a reflection of poor market sentiment & low management credibility...

Agree, lots to play for Swizz. However I’m not going to go as far as you into reading JAN’s boards actions as highly strategic at this point.

Releasing, & then selling down, Pedra Branca shareholdings may not have been at all strategic at all until they see fit to show WHY they chose to dash for the cash at this early stage of those promising assets. I’m sure they saw a more advantageous use for the money but they haven’t strictly seen fit to reveal to shareholders yet WHY & WHAT their urgent need was for. Drilling money is not that great an answer on its own. Until it’s clearer I’ll reserve my view on the foresight of BOD actions till the benefits are clearer.

(That said their eye on an early Fodere stake does seem promising!)

Bounce didn’t last long...721p now...ugly results indeed.

This mornings results don’t look pretty at all (& seem worse than expected, especially the -75% dividend cuts)....

“Net profit for the period decreased 69.1% from US$229.3 million to US$70.9 million in 1H19.”....

Their eps down similarly also.

Ugly & not a particularly positive commentary for the near term by management either to my eye. They are dangling the future potential though again.
