always, at some point the traders will focus their attention here, best to get in early
If the cash pile gets redistributed, then the sp will double.
Will there be a "sell on the news" anyway.
I think the Cash pile, bitcoin rebound, activist shareholders mean that this is a compelling buy at these prices.
Get in early too.
Tino, "COS took hit last year from restructuring the New Zealand branch"
Tino, cost cutting is always fine, but the real driver of profits is always increasing revenue. 4 million in revenue will never make anyone rich, and the problem here is that they just aren't growing fast enough to get to sustainability.

To me what Lady Sonia has written reads perfectly ok from a reservoir engineering poitn of view. She writes " FOIL bottom hole pressure results " and is not talking about permanent depletion pressures as you are alleging.
So there will be a change in the pressure profile at the bottom of the whole during the well tests. The reservoir pressure at the bottom of the well will both drawdown and then take time to build up and return to its static pressure when shut in. These are the "results" that indeed we are interested in because they characterise the reservoir.
Reads perfectly fine to me.
Could it be that it is your statement that shows more of a lack of understanding of the process or perhaps what she meant.
Adou " BHP on the Lancaster field will remain utterly unchanged by the presence of the ESP"
Sorry to butt in, but the BHP will change as the well draws down and flows.
" I thought the main issue is that it just can't grow it's sales fast enough. " 3 Mar
I think this Trading Update confirms this. Cash burn too high for the sales. ie when's the next fund raise.
Soup's translation service is happy to provide the following:
"IMO Weather window for Mon is not looking so good now" = ' I currently do not have my Trading pot invested in Hurricane'
"IMO Weather window for Mon is looking good now" = ' I currently have my Trading pot invested in Hurricane'
neon,
Perhaps if I summarise the conversation so far, it will help you see why I asked the question.
naked_truth; "sign the petition to ban shorting "
Soup, "what is wrong with shorting "
Neon, "Shorting is bad and unethical because they SELL shares they DO NOT own"
Soup, "Have you for example ever borrowed money you don't own. So is taking out a mortgage morally wrong too then in your opinion"
neon, Hopefully you can post a suitable follow up now.
Neon,
I'm a bit confused with your argument against shorting. You say "Shorting is bad and unethical because they SELL shares they DO NOT own"
Have you for example ever borrowed money you don't own and spent it with the intention of repaying it ? Do you have a mortgage perhaps. Is taking out a mortgage morally wrong too then in your opinion ?
naked_truth, what is wrong with shorting ? Shorters are very important regulators of the market.
Joe, What is wrong with shorting ? Shorters are important regulators of the market.
Perhaps if you could name me a ( good ) company that Shorters have irreparably damaged , that would help me understand this petition.
Boyzee, maybe you missed it, but sprucegoose was asking if you are boyzee ?
scored, perhaps if you could use more full stops it would be easier to understand what you are saying. ( just a tip seeing as you post so much )
DGD, Why would you want to ban shorting ? Shorters are the best regulators of the market, and do a better job than those who are paid to regulate.
An interesting article, and an interesting company. I do wish the author would declare if he is invested though as I rather suspect he is.
I missed the boat on this one at 60p, but would consider it again if it fell back to those levels.
Would be interested in Paul Scott's view on this now as he was heavily long on it.

I looked at this company before many years ago. I thought the main issue is that it just can't grow it's sales fast enough. And also seems a bit too dependent of government grants.
I can't see that this has changed.
Good name and product though but is perhaps too subscale for great returns. Just my humble opinion.
Boyzee, Didn't you used to post on the UKOG board too, before you started posting as snaggletooth ?
