Bailed out yesterday , sick of the daily drop . Lost 20% in a few weeks . Rubbish like most of the stock market at mo . Gov should get kicked to the ground as they force us to invest our pension in stocks . Should be an alternative apart from other complicated ways . Screwing us over

Much worrying ! All investments are taking a pounding. Don't stress so much . Time will tell . The markets are just jittery globally it happens

Futures lifting slightly today on Tech . That's affected SMT lately

Thanks Robleo , at the price I bought I'm happy to wait , hopefully the big drops have stabilised a bit , I'll be happy just to make a profit . Not expecting miracles . If we all knew what was going to happen we would all be much richer . Best of luck to all

I bought back in that's better as I retained some and now I have averaged the price down . I do believe it will turnaround within a year .

Unfortunately Walp mine was a recent purchase , hence not very impressed so far . I've tried to sell when it's around what I paid so that I can buy back cheaper , as it will bounce for some time I think . I have to try something as it's my work pension from jobs I've had , and I don't want to pay more tax on it , I took my 25% tax free , and now try to see if I can grow what I have left in my HL drawdown . Hope it comes good for all on here . I've managed to sell 60% of my holding . Now I'm waiting

Have long term typo

At a certain age not all of us gave long term ! Everyone's decisions are their own so stop criticising people just because they want to buy/sell when they want to . No one has a crystal ball , if they had we wouldn't need to make decisions based on what we ourselves think is right . Good luck to everyone whatever their decision .

A bad time to be holding , thank god I decided to sell a lot of my holding earlier . Just in time . I'll still feel some pain but not as much now . Sold 65% off this week . I'll just sit on the rest .

Yes I intend to wait and buy in lower . As I've been watching big swings some days , I'll wait to see if I've got the opportunity to buy in at a decent price . I sold a few k worth today and halved my holding . Happy with a few k more then wait .

I'm selling some each day it goes up as I'm still down an average of 7% . I personally think there will be some very rocky times ahead so want to derisk somewhat

I'm in full agreement with you LOL , I'd do exactly the same , I am down by 8% now , so when some popped up higher than I paid I recouped and was 2% better off than I was . The fact these can be traded immediately makes them more appealing than the other managed funds .
