A buyout may not be a bad thing. I am not convinced that will happen however. Fundamentals of the business remain sound as ever so I think a recovery and re entry is more likely in 12-18 months.

Being an 'insider' I have some quite detailed info, but obviously can't post it here. On the day it was announced we had a company wide email about it which gave more detail than the RNS. Meggitt is a very focussed company and I think it will recover quite soon from the profit warning given.

Yes it is. Last week marked my 30 years service at Meggitt. I have bought and sold a few times and have confidence despite the markets reaction to the news last week. I still hold and will continue to do so. It's a bargain basement entry point in my view.

You can look at this two ways...yes the expansion may take some business from CPW, but it also means that Vodaphone believe there is a big enough and buoyant enough consumer market for such a large number of stores. Looking at the rate of consumer turnover of devices like phones etc, I would tend to agree. Phones and tablets have effectively killed the PC market, certainly the desktop is almost a dinosaur.

Does anyone know what all the Form 8.5's etc mean? Are we buying up shares in each other and declaring them in an RNS?

I have been invested in CPW since 2010, bought in at 1.70 average so glad at the recent rise. Would be good to see it head towards £3.
