Get ready - this will all come to a head soon.16 Apr 2020 08:51
So we have seen some very large trades going through lately with transfer, swap and off market transfer. What does that tell us? Well, whilst there are known sellers due to MCAP ad II's allowed investment there is also someone taking on board all these shares.
Im pretty sure DBAY will be making a bid for the 49% of the publicly listed ESL very soon. They already sit on 27% on ESL, obviously close enough to 30% to strike. They have already paid 30 odd pence per share effectively in acquiring the other 51% of whitegreenstar. ESL here is the other 4% of whitegreenstar.
They may offer 20p per share here, it maybe more, giving them an average over the whole deal of 25p minus interest due on the PIK. The PIK itself being the price of 51% of white greenstar. Not bad for a company trading at over £1 some time ago.
I think they will then make it profitable and sell it on again downtrack. Lets not forget they picked a number of their ESL holding up at 6p from Woodford.
All to play for but I see this as a scenario that may well play out.
