Pleeeeze all this stuff constantly about diamonds about to be signed is all BS. The article clearly and RNS BOTH clearly state there are issues in this agreement. Until these are ironed out (and they have been going on since October) there wont be any deal signed.

Try pumping it a bit more to keep the price up if you can but the story has been plainly spelt out in the article and the RNS.

An admission from VAST that the communities have issues with the deal. To be honest Im for the first time starting to doubts that this deal will ever be signed now.

Eddie, I totally disagree.

I will say VAST have the potential of a great opportunity but that's it's and I'll tell you why.

I have been no volved with many companies dealing with Africa over the years. Take KIBO Energy for one. I was convinced they had and still have the ability to develop a project from the outside we all think Tanzania etc need. However, after all permits and promises from the government to progress the project, the government and the people itself just couldn't sign off for many internal wrangling reasons.

It matters not how good the prize might be or how well equipped you might be to exploit that prize - if you aren't granted access to it because of internal African politics you are throwing good money after bad. That's the risk here and from the Zimbabwe weekend press, locally they are all fighting over it.

VAST have been unequivocally told amongst other not to interfere.

DYOR always if the SP end the week above 0.14p I'll be suprised. There are major issues getting this deal agreed FACT.

It's just more spanners in the works outside of VAST's control unfortunately. Given the current situation with Covid 19 in Zimbabwe I really dont think we will see any movement for a few months at least.

As I have always said and this article just goes to prove it. VAST are potentially sat on a great assets albeit, there is no way of knowing when they can realise that asset in Zimbabwe. The issues are still well it of VAST's control. Whilst it is promising Chief Marange recognises VAST's responsibilties to the stock exchange and shareholders he also makes it, very clear that VAST, shareholders and other interested parties shouldn't 'stick their noses in' and should leave for them to iron out the exisit wranglings.

AP has also pleased with investors previously to not contact government officials etc for fear of wrecking the deal and this article all but echos that.

All in all, it shows just how fragile the situation is in Zimbabwe over this deal. Probably not the sort of share you want you life savings in given these comments.

Not for widows and orphans I'd say.

Looks as if the Govt have given away part of the Chiadzwa concession to the Chinese now the whole board of the ZCDC has resigned. No mention now of VAST or Katanga.

Seems like MAJOR issues on the ground in Zimbabwe with this deal. It's certainly no where near close by the looks of it.

Well to be fair to see were some other 6 figure sells, however we all know this is not how the works.
