FDI had to take on enormous debts for their capital requirements, much higher than STEL will have to. They also have much, much lower margins. If you understood economics, then you would understand how that affects profitability. Finding large stones is what is exciting about diamond mining. Not only are STEL's concentration and grade some of the highest in the world (and 25x combined higher than FDI), but also some of the biggest and highest quality diamonds in history have come out of Sierra Leone. Once mining starts, we could get a 'special stone' RNS at any time, just like FDI did today.

STEL's NPV is only based on extensively drilled and defined resources. It does not take into account the huge potential resources in the additional dykes in the license. Also, FDI are looking at a carat per hundred tonne of around 26. STEL's is 10x that. FDI are looking at an average revenue of around $100 per carat. STEL's is around 2.5x that. So the concentration and grade is much, much higher for STEL. That is why the capital requirements are so much lower. STEL has the potential to become profitable much, much quicker. Just highlighting some more facts.

The news from FDI today shows the potential of diamond mining. Their market cap is £150 million, they are about a year ahead of STEL in terms of production and their mine it TINY compared to STEL's. STEL's market cap could easily be 100x its current level before too long. If the moaners are so adamant that won't happen then why won't you take out a short position?

The $32 million is to release $1.5 billion of revenue from some of the highest grade diamond fields in the world. The recent RNS said it's a 2-year capital requirement, so it won't all be needed upfront. IMO it will get funded no problem. It is a risk, but there is always risk buying shares and just because it's not popular right now doesn't mean it won't skyrocket. As Warren Buffett said, “Most people get interested in stocks when everyone else is. The time to get interested is when no one else is. You can’t buy what is popular and do well.” There is a good chance that all the moaners will be made to look very foolish by the end of the month.

Jim, not only is your glass half empty, but what's in it is probably poisoned anyway, right? Consider short-term funding sorted after OO and AGM plus directors loading up with shares. Then watch the recent tipstv interview (link on front page of stellar diamonds website). For all your bashing, it still seems to be going to plan. Deal to be signed, strategic investor to be involved, mining to start. Boom time is coming Jim, whether you like it or not.

I think PIs eligible for the OO will take it up. It's in the interests of the company, therefore in the interests of PIs. If they do take it up then it won't be the first of your doom and gloom predictions that didn't come true Jim. We can just put it next to the company never coming out of suspension and you saying you'd sell your shares if it did ever come out of suspension. Here's my prediction again - deal signed, strategic investor, start mining millions of carats of diamonds. Even with 100 million shares in issue, the market cap would be in the hundreds of millions, so the dilution wouldn't matter. Yes it's risky, but this could easily turn out to be the biggest riser on AIM of 2017.

You'll see in the next few weeks. It'll be deal signed, strategic investor announced, then on to $1.5 BILLION revenue!!! And that's just for starters - there's another 8 million carats of resource to drill in Sierra Leone, plus more news due on the joint venture projects in Guinea and Liberia. Exciting times!!!

For anyone who hasn't done in depth analysis of this sector, here's a straightforward bit of research to give you an idea of the possibilities at STEL. Go to the recent presentation on the front page of stellar diamonds website. Go to the slide comparing resources with other listed peer companies. Compare the grade and value of the 3 prospective resources at STEL with the resources at the other companies. Then look up the market caps of the other companies. If you want to look further into it then look up how much of those resources the companies own, the stages of development, the debt levels and the net asset values of those companies in their accounts. Then consider that STEL currently has a market cap of less than £3 million. It seems that there will always be a gaggle of bitter doom and gloomers quick to reply and rubbish such claims. But if you do the above comparisons, then you will start to get an idea of the possibilities on offer here. You will realise that for STEL, from its current position, a 20-bagger might only just be the beginning.

Stellar diamonds released an interesting presentation today on their diamond mining prospects at Tongo. With their market cap being almost the same as GSRs at the moment, it is possible to own the same % share in STEL as it is in GSR, for the same investment. What makes you all choose GSR over STEL? Or are you all invested there as well?

You said you'd rather put money in SOU than STEL at this moment in time. Fine, so I compared those investment opportunities. Investment opportunities Jim, not companies. P.S. Lol about your latest doom and gloom prediction. Just to recap - you said it would delist straight from suspension, and it didn't. You said you would sell all your shares if it ever came out of suspension, and you didn't. And what now? Lights out after the AGM?! When that doesn't happen either, what will be your next whining prediction after that? And what is your game here anyway Jim? For someone who only holds a couple of hundred quids worth of shares, you spend an awful lot of time on here. What are your motives?

I asked a question on SOU board because I was following up on comments made on this board by a SOU shareholder, saying how great it was compared to STEL. So I decided to compare the companies. STEL is high risk and might fall flat on it’s face, but if it doesn’t then it’s got huge multi bagger potential. It’s current market cap is only £2 million, so it doesn’t have far to fall and has huge scope for a rise. High risk, but potentially very high reward. SOU is high risk with very little chance of multi bagging. It’s current market cap is £600 million. High risk with very little potential reward. Don’t presume that just because I am new to posting and use exclamation marks, that I don’t know how to critically appraise investment opportunities. Both companies are awaiting big news. I will now follow the fortunes of both companies with great interest.

Wow. I suppose I think it would be a lot higher if they all go ahead in the next few months. I certainly agree it could then seriously move as soon as diamonds start coming out of the ground at Tongo. It should be an interesting few months either way!!!
