It's only a recent discovery that they have been looking at Alzheimers in the wrong way and it is in fact the brains response to being attacked in an autoimmune response that produces the protein/plaques to protect itself that causes the disease.

P140 is thought to have an effect on many autoimmune conditions....

Imagine if P140 has turned out to be effective..... Alzheimers now thought to be an autoimmune disease.....
