Long not the point the point being they were removed from various sites and ALL placed in one place so MET1,'s 500 hectares could be 1 big tailings dump and not just a number of smaller tailings dumps

Many of these sites were cleaned and made safe with tailings/mill waste removed and buried in large vaults away from rivers/ground water. Is one of these what MET1 have?

Uravan consists of 59 claims (~490 ha) near the historic Buckhorn Mine, in the renowned Uravan Mineral Belt, historically the most productive uranium-vanadium mining district in the U.S. Previous surface sampling returned exceptionally high uranium grades, including assays up to 22,280 ppm uranium (2.23% U₃O₈) and significant vanadium values.

The question is how many metric tons of waste are there on their site. If anyone knows that would be of use to an investor. So if there were a total of 500 tons of waste for example, that could net about $3,800,000

There are nearly 10 million cubic yards (or roughly 13 million tons) of radioactive uranium mill tailings remaining at the former town site of Uravan, Colorado

The Uravan Project was acquired by Metals One in July 2025. It comprises 59 unpatented mining claims (~490 hectares) situated near the historic Buckhorn Mine within the renowned Uravan Mineral Belt, a district responsible for more than 60 million pounds of uranium and 330 million pounds of vanadium production during the 20th century. Within the Uravan Project there are eight separate abandoned uranium mine waste dumps suitable for potential recovery. In September 2025, Metals One announced it had returned grades of up to 41,768 ppm uranium (4.17%) from historic waste material (UV5) from rock chip sample assays.

Premium paid at 16.29 :-)

Insitu value with processing facilities would currently be worth around the $300m-$500m mark @30% $90m-$150m to MET1

Lets hope the deal closes soon and gold stays high :-)
