Are out in force on Twitter! Apparently GCM is illegally trading shares in a project that doesn't exist...... Mmm power China's due dilligence must be shocking, how did they ever become one of the world's largest fortune 500 companies buying into dreams lol
Bangladesh is one of the countries hardest hit by climate change. By setting up coal-fired power plants in the coastal areas, the government is making matters even worse. In the meantime, Asia Energy or GSM is illegally using the Phulbari coal mine to do business in the London share market, while the government back here is signing a deal with Power China for this mine. This is how the country is being run! It doesn’t really matter to the government, does it?
So if the green light is given and GCM would need to produce a guaranteed 15mt P/A for 30yrs to feed the power stations what your saying is no one would lend against this massive guaranteed income stream?
Another mine in Phulbari was closed in the face of fierce movement in 2006. However, a British and Chinese company along with Bangladesh government decided to reopen it in 2019 (Energy Central News 2019,
