IMO I think at this moment in time we really need to keep very very focused on our specific project.

It does work to do that but it doesn't make the document user friendly....it's made just about as difficult as possible to see all the projects. dates applied for and dates granted etc.

You can see one or two at a time, but only half of them, then you have to break off, go to bottom of page, slide it along and return to where you were to pick up the second half of the info.

Difficult if you want to easily compare ALL timespans between submission and grant of licence.....one of those corporate things designed to meet legal requirements but make it possible only for the very determined........but thanks for pointing it out.

I've contacted the Marine Strategy and Licensing Branch of DAERA Marine and Fisheries Division for more up to date information.

This Stewart Dickson fellow is not just a local environmental activist, but East Antrim MP for Alliance Party in N.I and also Vice President, Monitoring Committee of the Council of Europe. He has been very outspoken against the proposed salt caverns since at least 2016.

Could this be amongst any reasons our EU grant was refused ?

I hope any differences can be resolved and we can move on here.

Can't the results from FEED be proven to work only AFTER the first 2 caverns are constructed?.....or am I missing something?

Sorry to sound so negative in posts below, but Dawski DID ask for opinions and it's good to talk out concerns. I guess I'm looking for specific assurances on the issue because it's so vital.

Good links Humps, relevant indeed....but no mention (that I can recall) specifically of the requirement for an updated EIA in any RNS (needed I suppose because of the extra 15 caverns?)....yet that letter in the link is dated 19th Jan 2019.

JW says make your own minds up when enabling works starts in a few months........but surely, something as fundamental as this licence HAS to be in place before equity/debt decisions can go ahead?

Is this licence covered by UK or EU legislation ? Will Brexit affect it?

JW has responded to some probing tweets but imo INFA really needs to immediately, specifically and totally clarify (oficially) the current position on this licence....as it is extremely important and extremely price sensitive.

imo...because of the absolute fundamental need for that licence, this should have top priority. There has been more than enough time to collate and present those results. I doubt if the delay is our end due to the primary necessity of it.

But a delay somewhere in the pipeline on that one would certainly explain the delays in equity/debt.

McAdder has been uncharacteristically quiet on the posting front and he usually seems to be in the know as to current status....would be nice to hear his views on it.

Hydrogen cars have many advantages over electric cars....regarding 'refuelling/recharging' times and the 'green-ness' of the process. Although Hydrogen cell more expensive right now...there is bound to be some technological breakthrough in next couple of years to rectify that and we are always going to go with the 'greenest' technology.

But petrol cars are here for years perhaps decades yet!......loads of palladium required.

Had another look....you can just make out a few and seems 2-3 months has been the case on some.

In which case we are OVERDUE a decision.....there has been no RNS regarding it......so what is the hold up?

That is very very naughty of them.....the public cannot see the dates granted...every single one of the dates has been truncated...so we can't see what the normal time is between application and decision !!

However, having said that...I think we're reasonably close now.

The main reason that is sending Palladium skyward (above the obvious demand in hydrogen cells etc) is the way the metals market itself has been 'virtually' operated (and has to be corrected) which is also the main reason why it will hold for years to come is explained in the podcast. It's a case of the Emperor has no clothes on!
