The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Pmh, im certainly not blinded by the recent uplift, my 1st buy in THG was £2.32 and i caught the falling knife like so many LTH. Im still underwater but now my holding is in the 90's and im happy to buy in the dips. However with the July change in listings coming shortly there is going to be a bit of a squeeze. An early summer interest rate cut will add to stability if Bailey has the balls to lead rather than follow.
Pmh198, a move up of 26% in the past month is hardly a horror show.
I would take that on any share in any month. It has been a painful few years but the mood music is different.........
Do you not think Bailey will actually take a lead possibly in July instead of following the FED.
possibly with a 1/4% reduction in JULY?
Anacott, thanks for that, I had the same frame of mind, i was just gauging other thoughts.
Thanks for that
Anacott, what if we don't hit their 2.1% prediction.
A 1.1% drop in inflation is a big ask.
Glad i bought 22k shares 1st thing this morning.
Will we fall tomorrow if CPI target is missed?
What your thoughts?
Thanks
Some people will buy £100 & can say it was significant, others can buy 10k & say the same, some can buy 100k and say the same. So your message has really no relevance...lol
Odd this one, they are taking on a lot of staff in Belfast and sub contractors are also taking on a lot of staff. I know 4 that have left jobs to go work for them as the wages/terms are better.
I pencil, thanks for your contribution on this issue.
Can you help me understand this issue please.
Ive several more senior members of society who have been asking about the tracker funds.
Are they compelled to buy?
If so how much/ many %?
Are they able to buy & sell at will?
I cannot advise them as I'm unsure of the inn's & outta. They want to increase their already 6 figure holdings.
Thanks in advance
It won't be a director, stop being silly. Where is "the decent buys"? What director is going to embarras themselves buying stock on a Monday morning?
Jessiredd, "some posts here are just silly"
Your not long enough invested in Sheild to understand, if your invested at all.
They tried to go it alone in USA 2-3 years ago & failed so not "just entering" as you state.
Millions in revenue but more millions in losses, it ain't hard understand.
Cash flow positive also means we only bring in a little more than we spend, so at best 2025 we will gave a little profit but not enough to pay the bills. However thd "cashflow positive" goalposts are on wheels as they move, but you ain't here 4 years & wouldn't understand. But the market understands that, the market also understands when their taken for a ride.
Why has no director or institution filled their boots at 1.5 pence if this is such a great buisness?
The product maybe good but the management has been shocking .
HarChris, LWHL & I have been telling the idiot rampers the truth but you choose to keep the blindfold on.
Why do a few of us post facts? Ill tell you, we are here so long to have seen the management fundraise after fundraise, missed targets, economical with the truth.
DYOR & Goodluck all as we need it & more.
What does the longterm outlook look like?
It's very different from a realists perspective
HarChris has hit the bail on the head once again.
RIZ29, we all know your game, many like you have come before then suddenly dissappear. You can ramp to the cow's come but it doesn't change the facts. SWK are the king makers here, not forgetting that AOP might be up to something.
A 1% rise in prescriptions Q on Q isn't going to cut it.
You've showed your hand as a ramping clown.
No one has ever doubted the product -the product is not the issue.
The issue is the frame to profitability before dilution leaves us with nothing.
Are you working for sheild in some capacity?
Your on the watch list.
Jessiredd.
You seem to miss the elephant in the room. SWK.
What research have you done?
How long are you invested in STK?
Have you read & completely dismissed what SWK have set out as "minimum" targets, some have already been missed.
Do you know of all the fundraises?
Do you know that the goalposts are on wheels here they move so much?
A £1.50 fundraise & we are c 1.5 pennies, + all the much more recent raises.
In hospital terms, we are just been removed from life support, we are now in ICU but we may never get back to the ward. It's that simple.
Directors buying can be viewed in many ways for good or bad reasons. Directors not buying at this supposedly ridiculous cheap price tells its own story.
Have a great day GLA, DYOR
Optrade.......so it didnt "rocket" or go red.
Your a prize clown.
How long are you invested here?
They can all talk the talk, spin the spin but time will tell. They have as Harchris says told us all about Hardman research and lead us up the garden path. I've 2million of these at the wrong price & just glad today wasn't a total wipout but we are far far away from being out if the woods, but hey hoo, cash flow positive in H2 2025 apparently.....yes cash flow positive in H2 2025, I think he said H2 2025, correct me if I'm wrong but I do believe I heard both of them say H2 2025 but now my mind playing tricks with me. Was it H2 2025......that remains to be seen.....14 +months to wait
Once the market wakes up....catch a grip man.
Greg since arrival has presided over failure after failure. The goal posts keep getting moved and just expect another fund raise its probably priced in.
330k scripts in 2024,.....28.8k isn't actually a great start. If they get anywhere close to half that by year end it will be wonderful. However I doubt even that.
If good news is a 1% rise Q on Q I'd hate to see what bad news is.
GLA, ADYOR
Optrade,
do you actually believe all the figures and the targets will be reached.?
They have been circa 50% of any target set previously so will it suddenly all change?
Good luck in your belief this will rocket today....lol
if it closes blue it will be fantastic
I dare to dream that your statement might come true. However I'm long enough here to realise that they burn through cash, do not have a great sales record across Europe, delays in China, Korea.
No mention in results about other parts of the world.
Against Hardmans research of 65k, 28.8 is more than 50% of target. And a hell off a way of 45k, as a said before we need a complete step change in the company & we didn't get it.
