I’m not in the business of disrespecting our partners, many on here also hold Solo. Contractually, did Solo get 25% off the Tanz government or off AEX. That should tell us what will happen if the obligation cannot be met. One things for sure the drill will only turn when this is known. I expect this to be the next news, ‘ imminently’.

Confused CP, Do you think we’ll secure the rig, announce the spud date and then ask Solo to stump up. I’m not sure. Will Solo stay for the drill or for full field development, I think these discussions are ongoing and need resolving. They will need more money for the field development but may farm out after the drill.

Solo any closer to stumping up their 25% or farming out. Come on, we got drilling to do (with possible liquid finish).

There’s a lot of sniping going on on this board lately, think folk need to relax and take a step back. I’ve just come back from a trip to Moscow during which I got stung by what I thought was a dodgy wasp. A visit to the doctor has confirmed it was cagey bee.

Makes no sense to me. It's raining in central Birmingham today, the tea leaves and an itchy left foot are telling me the SP will finish down or up today, that pesky JB! The daily nonsense we are treated to is comical / depressing. Bring back Mr Wilkes, he was that blatant it was unbelievably funny. Lot's to come, I'm not letting them pick my pockets.

How can folk possibly try and paint a nothing RNS as negative. We all knew BH were to step down. I take this bit of communication as positive, at least we know JB is still alive and communicating. He hasn't fallen off his perch, dragged down by his bulging wallet. BH hasn't sold his holding either. As you were, move along, nothing to see today.

The Solo deal needs putting to bed before anything can move - wouldn't you agree?

With demand growing also from outside of Tanz we need to crack on and lay some pipe.

The deal is only done when the Solo element runs its course. Until there's a sniff of this 'Elephant in the room' waving goodbye with it's big fat trunk we are facing delay. The market doesn't like delay and JB stated AEX will crack on as early as possible. Wonder if Solo have a time to adhere to in order to complete their end of the deal. Not sure where the bottom is and how many bottom feeder's are hovering over the buy button, I certainly am.

Think they'll do something with KN1 when the Tanz authorities allow them to. All been connected to the farm-out in my opinion. Were the Tanz authorities ever going to accept an O&G minnow as operator and award a 25 year development license, nah don't think so. The squeeze has run it's course and things will start moving, only my opinion though.

Market priced this in, imo. Market doesn't like delay and the Solo deal / finance needs sorting - Elephant in the room at the moment. Solo have been looking for a funding options just as long as AEX were and I would expect news on this imminently. Good word that! Get that out the way and get that drill turning.
