Absolutely Pat, he's also a shareholder and I'm pretty sure he reads this BB now and again and can see our frustration.
Obviously Dave can see more potential in our leases than we can as he has all the facts and data in front of him. Almost certainly he's as frustrated as us knowing the ocean of oil were sat on.
Maybe Dave has turned the screw on our preferred bidder and gave them a deadline (31st August) this date or we say goodbye...
Little sweetener from said bidder 500k which to be fair is loose change to an oil major.
Maybe all you Dave doubters don't realise he's also a business man and in my opinion not too shabby.
All the best folks
IW 1.....scientific drill great info fed back
IW 2 didn't flow but again gave good info back
Winx....flop agreed because we drilled in the wrong spot...
Today I fitted 10 sheets of plaster board to 4 stud walls I missed the stud about 50 times...does that mean I'm in a bad place????
No it meant I had to move my DRILL over in order to hit the SWEET SPOT (the stud.)
I'm sure the same principle applies to any drilling. Oil is on a mammoth scale but still the same principle. With aid of a major we can eliminate costly mistakes. As for myself I'll just get a joiner in next time....(my major ).....simple, logical and the right step forward....
What I don't get Brom, If you own a share of a company, more and more people research, listen to people who have good knowledge who point out hard facts your portion of the share increases with value as others buy into it.
Why if you also invest in said company would you talk your investment down to others, I can't think why people would even bother unless they have too much wonga and need to get rid of it.
This is a slow process and slower than we all imagined it would be . However good things will come over the next 6 to 12 months. We're in a better place than we were 3yrs ago, more land, more 3D, FO on the brink of exposure, more FO to come and the jewel in Yukon.
Take care folks.....we got this.
ST, certainly it would give us more leverage, however oil majors see this type of data all the time I would have thought. More so than a small exploration company. They will know when they see good data or not. Even a possibility a company who already work on the NS. Wink wink
A total sell out of icewine could be a possibility, the length of time to date could well be a thrash out of sale price. The board would need to approach the pi's with terms and a figure. They wouldn't just announce were selling up then keep us waiting 8 months with a halt.
Every possibility needs to be on the table 1st so I still think we could be approached in the next month or so. Either way I'm confident we're in a good place at the mo even though it is a tad frustrating.
Morning gang hope alls well,
I had no idea how drilling for oil worked 3 yrs ago all I could go off was when Jed shot his gun into the swamp and up from the ground came a bubbling crude.....but common sense and research will tell you this...
88 energy..."oil & gas exploration company"
This company does pretty much what it says on the tin. They explore, they research data using modern technology (sometimes) package it up as a deal then they either sell what they have found or they work along side...an oil extraction company.
So as an investor in a small exploration company who have no income other than "investors money" they don't sell icepops or slush puppys at the side of the ice roads to truckers. you need lots of coffee, time and patience otherwise please don't put your hard earned money into a time consuming venture like this, then use this forum to vent how stupid you have been....simple really.
Alaska is a very difficult place to eplore and extract due to weather, permits, iceroads, governments rules and regulations. We're soooo up against everything. As Gary Barlow once said have a little patience.
All the very best folks and have a great day in the sunshine....We got this
Cheers Brom, I'm pretty sure both parties couldn't keep it quiet for another 6 months or so. I'm just not sure winx was as big a deal as this though. It was a side punt after all.
Just a thought as we are not priority the oil major although we are for DW as he's an investor too in 88, We shall see.
