Is there ever a time you don't sell Carrington? This shares done, wouldn't even buy them at 15p let alone at this price. Like a few have mentioned, there's actions behind the scenes and soon will be in administration
Welsh last time out Nike jumped 15% and we were up around 8% so will definetely have an impact as always. If Nike results are really poor I think there may be a small sell off in the morning but we will bounce back with the share buyback occurring so either way we should be OK. All this share is waiting for is a couple of good updates and it will rocket 🚀
Nice little buyback happening then we'll come crashing down in the afternoon for the next one to happen. I think they've taken on too much purchasing the retailers in the US and currently going in the wrong direction as they're becoming less profitable. Sort your mess out before you start expanding. Like running before you can walk. Simple business acumen seems to have evaporated and a change is needed at the top.
Its just one disappointment after another. The CEO needs to go. His had enough time to turn this round and like a few have mentioned; where's the money gone? Increasing revenues should not be reducing profits by 13% !. That's simply bad cost control. How about stop paying yourself and the board a ridiculous bonus and earn your salary. But then your just an employee and will move on to another company to destroy and leave us investors to suffer! Surprised there was not a profit warning ! If anything that's the positive today which is the level we've come down to.
That's the worse thing you can say a day before results. Hope your right as I can't understand why this went to a pound and then got sold off to 86p. Management need to give investors confidence as right now there is not a lot. Any gains never hold. You can't say it's UK stocks as RR never lose any of their gains and were near record lows currently.
20p coming easy in next few weeks. Wouldn't be surprised if they do a rights issue ! Been here several years and I always call it right. Nothings changed. Management are still the same.
If anyone's thinking of taking a punt at this wait for 20p. We will see it. With a price target of 35p from analysts that is a decent punt. That's when most shorters will close their positions. We'll see this afternoon if it drops further.
We'll break through a pound soon. Might be a bit bumpy as markets are horrid in the month of September but results are due in a few weeks and im hoping for a 10% rise on that day. Patience!
