Ok - I wasn't expecting that . . . . Great news, but dropping so much? It will climb back up again slowly and I'm here for the long term. Still a great company, doing the right things in the right places.
Hi Max - I can’t add anything more than what’s on the Investors section of the ABDP website, but I believe that the purchasing decisions being made by the Board are strategically well-placed and will be very rewarding.
I'd like to think that the share price (after the wobble today) will steadily rise in anticipation of some excellent results on the 27th. And stay there, or climb further . . .
Let's hope it reaches Liberum's target price . . .
No. I’m hoping that an imminent trading update (October 4th last year) will return the SP to its recent levels . . .
Strength to strength is the phrase that springs to mind. . .
Glad to see the SP has more then regained its earlier price drop. Just had to pick some more up at 2282 and await this year’s results. Feeling positive with the expansion of the company even if it increased this year’s costs.
Being more a contrarian investor, what are people’s thoughts here. 90p down to 50p over last 6 months - over-reaction to Woodford’s problems elsewhere? NAV reasonably higher then current price. Possible new (and better) managers coming in.
Considering whether to invest a little (speculation and understand risk).
All responses appreciated. SR
The unknowns are when the price is half way between buy and sell price and therefore the computers can’t say what type of transaction they are. I suspect the big value transactions were delayed as they took a long time to fill. What is good news is that someone is taking big stakes and if this is an institutional investor that bodes well for us all.
Some serious investment here . . .

RNS 4th July.
Wonder whether Rob Hart will stay a little bit longer until she joins, as he was due to leave July/August from memory.
Appointment of Chief Financial Officer
AB Dynamics (AIM: ABDP), the designer, manufacturer and supplier of advanced testing systems and measurement products to the global automotive market, is pleased to announce the appointment of Sarah Matthews-DeMers as Chief Financial Officer and she will join the Board with effect from 4 November 2019.
Thanks Max. They went ex dividend 2nd May so think it’s just the normal ups and downs. Note that they have a News article about a customer in China on their News page in their investors page.
Look at buys today - several million pounds worth . . . Something’s brewing . . .
I’m with IG and I can see 7 shares I’m entitled to purchase on my account that I can get during working hours tomorrow.
Think I’ll take them up at 2200p each to add to my holding.
Astounding!

Application will also be made to London Stock Exchange plc for the Placing Shares and the Open Offer Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM ("Admission"). It is expected that Admission will become effective and that dealings in the Placing Shares and the Open Offer Shares will commence at 8.00 a.m. on 7 June 2019 (being the business day following the General Meeting).
Nothing better than a company with clear direction and getting rapid buy in from investors to raise funds show how they feel the same.
Slight (expected) drop, but great expectations now (to quote Mr Dickens).
I have noted and ignored the various IC recommendations for selling and am now 75% up here. Have been investing as and when I can over last 18 months or so . . .
Even better than expected and hoped for.
Onwards and upwards - cracking investment.
Cracking RNS, so why the drops over the last few days? I hope the Interims in just over 3 weeks push this back up.
