A stellar performance last week by Vanadium Resources may presage a broader change in fortunes: shares in the Australian developer nearly doubled after it inked an agreement to supply vanadium-rich magnetite to a Chinese metals dealer.

Vanadium earns its stripes for steel-strengthening properties. These are key for defence and aerospace, but also useful in buildings and infrastructure. China is the world’s biggest consumer.

Looking better ahead of news. This has the potential to be one of the greatest stories on London small caps if they get it right. The board have the credibility so let’s see

They failed the special resolution in 2024 AGM to get authority to raise, and nominal is 1p. currently can’t raise below that without a general meeting and a vote to lower it, which is likely to voted against going by 2024 AGM. So.. it’s over 1p we go at some point.

the special resolutions (the "Special Resolutions") set forth in the Notice did not achieve the required 75% vote to pass.

They’d have a difficult job arranging a general meeting, getting shareholders to vote to lower the nominal value below 1p in time for the after hours placing
