If there is something going and they are " conspicuous in their silence " as GLOWACKI has stated I am sure the board would have picked up on any issues and declared it and the directors would have NOT Bought shares in the last several months.
I disagree - I have held plenty of stocks that have been hammered as a result of indirect issues and RNS have not been communicated. Why should they ? Its the nature of the markets. I am sure this stock will recover.
Its bigger than before and subject to the expansion being executed in line with the business plan it will hopefully carry on yielding for investors.
Anyone know know why this is getting hammered despite upbeat retail results from the sector ?
Thanks Alan appreciated.
Hi Alan80 - New to the post and have acquired a position with MEARS. I have also worked alongside MEARS on social housing contracts which they dominate in the sector. I am not really that experienced on buybacks so would be grateful if you would offer your opinion on the following in relation to Milton and buybacks :
1. Why would MIlton Sell the shares if MEARS are in line with their financial expectations ?
2. Will the buy back eventually benefit the shareholders once the total 20m has been taken ?
Thanks
Interesting - I work in Workington and actually have dealings with this MP from time to time so will be keeping a look out !
They seem to be buying up the whole world at the moment so hopefully they know what they are doing !
FWD T. Thanks for putting Nikes earning in to context and the fact that they recognise the multiband expectation from customers. I have always wondered if JD did not have one off divesting write-downs reported in its last update where the share price would have been.
This should clarify the position on Airbus.

Its all a bit crystal ball at the moment. With brokers comments, green considerations and now unions. August will give us a clear picture. Easy to get caught in the noise considering the Paris Air show appeared to be a success and a week later the positive news has been diluted.
Jarnold thanks for this. I wonder is these comments took into account the positive feed back from the CEO at the parish air show regarding expectations and China.
It will certainly go back up. Its always been a volatile stock on good news and perceived bad news.

I think even it was double the profit expectations the market would have viewed it critically. Look at the head lines on the other tabloids which are more positive.
Robdon - Agreed, considering the bad news generally in the ftse.
It must be market sentiment atm. Sports direct always looks empty compared to JD when I shop,
Still can figure out the drop - Shoe Zone and Lulu all doing well.
Dan what are you expecting the AGM update will be ?
Really getting hammered now.
